I'm fine with Emma and Josh honestly. I would've liked Zoe, but Emma has a similar vibe so I don't mind. I know very little about Josh, but he seems qualified for the role and I will definitely give him a chance.

I'm confused about Jojo though. Does not give presenter vibes, and it feels weird him giving up a pro spot (unless he's still gonna be in pro numbers, but no way he has a partner)

It could be way worse though. Unlike a lot of people on here, I'm glad it's not Rylan.

Emma is brilliant, her and Rylan would have been perfect. I LOVE Josh but just don’t think he will suit it unfortunately. Can see him and/or Johannes being axed next year.

I'm starting to wonder if maybe Johannes will be travelling around to the couples' rehearsal spaces across the week and recording behind-the-scenes thoughts about their progress? Sort of like the cameras already do, but with him fronting those segments (and hopefully with less cringey stuff in the VTs than usual ).

I'm also wondering if instead of ITT in its current format, there might be a sister show that's also fronted by Emma and the others to make it more cohesive to the brand?

Mainly though, I'm interested in how Josh will make his naturally awkward (oxymoron alert ) demeanor work in the live shows! I think he's great, but bloody hell he's awkward and tightly coiled I think he'll be very entertaining and great value though! Never forget that he once got a foot tattoo for the sake of light entertainment

I think Josh will do fine and slot into the direction the show wants to go in.

Emma, of course, will be perfect and run the show like a well oiled machine.

One thing I think JoJo might be doing is talking to the audience or doing a bit of chatting backstage, but who knows.

Shirley's comment about not knowing who Josh is is awkward. Why the need to be so secretive and try to throw people off, it's an entertainment show, not MI5.

Guys i’m scared i know Aj is going on that new dwts pro show (which is already filmed and he probs does bad because everyone else is far more american television type) but he’s posting a lot of videos dancing with chloe, rebecca scott (dwts ireland pro) and luke miller (kai friend). i’m scared he’s soft launching his return

Also Rylan said it was 'reported' he was in the race, so either he wasn't asked, or he didn't want to do it.

I don't think Strictly would take him back, and I don't think he'll win that DWTS show either. Both shows would prefer someone younger and fresher.

Josh ( irreverent, non robotic on the autocue) and Johannes only presenter of the new strictly companion podcast ?

He said “it wasn’t my time sadly” so I’m assuming he was interested but didn’t get it. I’m not sure why he was snubbed. Himself and Emma would have been the perfect duo

She is still as nauseating as ever and the show doesn't start until September.

Shirley is the main reason to stop watching if this outfit doesn't quite work.

It was very weird to have Josh on breakfast tv this morning, was there a booking mix up and he was supposed to be there tomorrow? Strange

Whatever JoJo's role may be, think I may be saying, well Rylan would have been great doing this.

It is amazing what Rylan has achieved since being on X Factor, not being the winner and an unexpectedly getting to the run of live shows.

Add to that the fact that everybody knows him immediately as Rylan, he doesn't even need a last name.

I’m not buying this threesome. After all these months this is the big announcement. Jojo is so softly spoken he’s hardly chatterbox Charlie in the Clauditorium. Josh W is an instant turn off for us. He’s so nasal and whiny and not even funny. Emma I can get behind

I’m actually glad it’s not going to be a like for like copy, trying to find a Tess and a Claudia and adding in a new presenting role.

Nah, Emma is made for the Tess role. She's going to be great.

Josh is quite short so would look weird next to taller celebs on the dance floor when stood next to them.
