I miss Gio!!! He would probably have been benched this year due to the lack of women but honestly he have been brilliant with Tasha. He's got a ringer on the Italian show and their dances have been fabulous.
Probably wouldnt have been great with Sarah as she's cut from the small cloth as AA - prentious and precious!!! Just say you've got a daughter and shut up (although I did wonder if she was so vague in case people asked questions about where she got this 'little one')
Strangely I think he would also have been good for Toyah. I think he would played up the madness.
It's a shame that there's no way back for Gio. He did some brilliant dances over the years.
But hey they all need to leave at some point. Sometimes this year I thought Aljaz would be leaving in an ambulance!!! Aljaz will be on duffer duty for the rest of his time on Strictly.
But yeah - give me a choice between Aljaz, Neil, Vito and probably Carlos, I'll take Gio every day of the week.

I enjoyed the final, the result was inevitable, congrats to Chris and Dianne, I did love Tasha's showdance though. Who was that one male dancer during Raye's song, I didn't recognise him?
I admit I'm a bit confused why people are saying it's insensitive and the wording is bad. I thought it was vomit inducing and very... Shirley, but is it actually offensive?
Yes I believe they went on a date but she didn't want to take it further. Hardly surprising.

I cannot stand Shirley Ballas but I actually don't think she meant any harm when she announced herself to Chris.

that’s exactly it! i don’t doubt that everyone announces themselves to chris when approaching him because, just basic manners, but making your entire caption (without congratulating him) being like “chris! chris! it’s me, SHIRLEY” just has meOh I agree the post was all about her! I felt sorry for Dianne at THE HUG last night. I think she was a bit flummoxed. What do you say to that!
To be fair Chris’ fans on social media have spent the whole series infantilising him so it’s not just a Shirley problem.
That was one thing Tasha escaped, at least, other than that silly post from her old college talking about how impressive it was that she used to take the train!
I couldn’t watch the final last night so I’ve caught up with some of the dances on YouTube and omg Tasha’s showdance is absolutely the best thing I’ve seen on Strictly. Just utterly fabulous. There’s ZERO need for wafty bollocks or cringey street when you can produce routines like that!

Tasha reportedly said that one date with Giovanni had put her off Italian men for life. So no, that partnership would not have worked. She'd have been great with Vito (or Nikita) on the other hand.
Also: Sarah has never actually confirmed that she has a daughter - she and her mum have always said 'child'/'little one'. So maybe there's a story there that she doesn't want to go into. I noticed last night she also said 'them'.
