I’ve mentioned on here before that many years back (maybe early 2000s) a red top tabloid had pics of Steve doing a bird up the arse on the balcony of his apartment. It was when he still had curly hair. Can’t find any of those pics now tho.

It's gonna take more than being a reck head and shagging about to turn me against Coogan. Alan Partridge is the funniest thing of all time.

So his ex said she regrets getting with him. That's pretty standard. And I woulndt hold Courtney Love up as some amazing judge of character. People don't exactly have the nicest things to say about her.

Oh yes, given fame and money I'd totally live like Steve, given half the chance - blaming him for Owen Wilson going off the rails is a bit mad. Alan Partridge is genius and I'll forgive him most things because of it - as far as I know there aren't any pregnant 16 year olds in his closet (Vic Reeves), just consenting adults, so I'm happy to chuckle at Steve's excesses nonetheless.

I actually think it's disgusting that Love is trying to pin Wilsons suicide attempt on Coogan. Wilson is a grown man, it was his choice to take drugs and his choice to hang out with Coogan. Everyone in Hollywood (and most people in the world) take drugs. Its not a big deal. If Wilson got addicted and lost his partner because of it that's all on him.

And Courtney I Love drugs is hardly one to start being all virtuous about drug use.

He's a fascinating chap isn't he, I haven't seen any of his films since 24 Hour Party People though, I re-watched Partridge over Xmas and had the tena giggles in a fairly dangerous way. He's soooo good at being creepy. (Re Vic Reeves, oooer, hadn't heard that!)

Last night I was reminded of my namesake and he's first show on the box, especially my Lady Mary sketch at 16:00, hence the pic change (Oh I do miss myself sometimes!)

It's acting though. Becoming a different person is sorta the point. Are you suspicious that Anthony Hopkins eats people? Do you think Zac Efron needs to be scrutinized for playing an infamous murderer and rapist?

Saville is an interesting story and one that we should be shown and reminded of so it doesn't happen again, so that we can see how it was allowed to happen.

Looks like some of Sav's survivors have been concerned and demanded a visit on set which they got. I am interested to see how the drama treats the bbc seeing as it's actually being made for and screened by them. I think I've got that right?

I know the Coogan family and I know one of his cousin's gets his kicks from pissing on women, he's quite an odd character, the cousin. The rest of the family, the ones I know are all good people though
