Self Appointed Covid expert.

Qualifications and experience is in acting and writing but has appointed herself the covid expert. Which would be fine if she didn’t continually give out false information to strangers and block anyone who corrects her on this.

today as an example, she said a company and refuse to allow an employee back unless they’ve had a covid test! Having had this issue at work and we brought our Union in- this is false.

creates tension and drama around ‘supposed’ announcements and then offers false hope for follows around ‘ don’t worry I’ll break the info down for ye’... she is not privy to any additional information than the average Joe soap.

wanting us to buy the newspaper and tag her is not to save print media, it’s so Instagram and the Irish press think she is popular.

feel free to add, and remember when you are asking her questions on your families covid safety, your job , your welfare entitlements etc - she is only giving you her understanding of googling it. She is not more informed than you and she is using your fear or trust, naivety to grow her following.

I had to unfollow her a while ago because the constant false information was driving me demented. And why the hell are random people asking her shite like "I have a booking at 2.30 on Christmas Eve, will I be allowed to finish my meal?" Ring the restaurant you absolute dope!🤯 Ugh I can't, her Instagram enrages me!

Yes to all of the above.

What KILLS me is the 'dont DM me lads, I'll do another question box tomorrow'. WHAT IS GOING ON? Why are people asking questions to the this absolute nobody when any of the news reporters (Zara King/Richard Chambers etc) have it clearly and concisely put on twitter.

Her podcast looks like a load of 💩💩💩 too.

Listen so far she has used:

Covid
Lockdown
General election
budget
Autism diagnosis

To grow herself & her following, force her Fianna Fáil views on us & tell us what we should and shouldn’t be doing blah blah blah. She’s made herself a TV personality by appointing herself a specialist on all the above. Now she will do it for miscarriage, pregnancy and birth too. And not to undermine her experience, loss is very very hard and yes we don’t talk about about it. But Stefanie only talks about things that will better her own self. Note: she never told us she’s on the FF payroll? Or that Noel is too? none of her followers were important enough to be told that she was pregnant. But now we have a full term pregnancy & healthy baby, so let’s now grow our following & talk about the sadness again because nothing gathers a crowd like misery & Stefanie is an expert at pontificating on misery topics. I wish her & her baby well, and I’m sorry for her loss. But she’s doing what she does best here again & utilising misery to grow her page & persona.
5 miscarriages in 2 years (1 in 2nd trimester) entitles her to keep any pregnancy private to herself & close family/friends. It wasn’t secret, just not on social media 🤷‍♀️
I guarantee you that any person asked if they could grow their SM platform thru loss would never in a million years choose that path

The absolute audacity of her using the ‘Important Flyer’ lanyard to get thru Dublin airport quicker! They are meant for special needs children who become overwhelmed!
And I know her diagnosis, but anyone who can interact with numerous guests on her podcast, do Live shows & meet the audience, & rock into radio stations to present a show should not be abusing the privilege 🤬

She's not funny, she's not clever, she's incredibly condescending and quite rude. I used to like her but she's absolutely repulsed me the last few months with her snooty snippy judgy attitude

When Stefanie first came on the scene, I was saying to myself isn’t that great, someone engaging on the political front. How nice!
How wrong could I be. So many negatives to her online presence, so much backhanded sneakiness. It’s galling to watch people ask her stuff, like some self appointed leader of the people.
She a raging pro establishment head, so much so, she can’t actually pretend to be not aligned to any party ( my hole).
Her polls are are up to drive engagement and pit people against each other.
She’s always trying to undermine the opposition parties at every turn !
Her Twitter account is like a car crash.
The smugness of her is just awful to witness.
Oh, and she’s dangerously thriving on the attention

I cannot stand this gowl. Her instagram is so incredibly cringy. I unfollowed her when she started policing everyone and taking videos of people in town like fuck off, you’re a screen writer. Why on EARTH has she decided she’s the authority on covid?

And even more baffling are the FOOLS who ask the questions!! “Can I go and visit my mam 6km away”. I cannot with the whole thing. It ENRAGES me!

She didn't need that pass (for children with special needs ) when she was fucking off to Dubai in first class during Covid after absolutely vilifying people who had lunch OUTDOORS in Dublin City centre.

Amazing how she suddenly needs it now.

She is an absolute toe-rag and a complete c**t. I don't know how anyone gives her the time of day.

I hate this woman child. The programme can’t cope won’t hope certainly sums her up. I’m fed up of society glorifying victimhood. Poor me, it’s so hard. She is the definition of privilege with her career, loving husband, inheritance and new home in Malahide. Not a true victim. Boo boo boo me. I’m fed up. She needs to grid the hell up stop moaning non stop and be somewhat humble. Her poor husband. He’s gone through hell and here he is flagellating to a womam child who is bandying about autism now as an excuse for her arrested developmentZ what’s worse is the pandering of followers and tvs media to her victim narrative. My hope is one day we’ll stop the victim glorying because honestly everyone is a victim now. She’s such a nasty person always ready to roar at someone she perceives as crossing her petty and pathetic boundaries. The loop earplugs, the morons congratulating her on getting through a baby fare when there are literal homeless families on the streets, women in DV shelters. I think I’ll save my admiration for ppl like that on how they are managing to get through their days

Babies are great and lovely news and congrats to them. Just seems a very odd thing to post and place a picture in a Sunday newspaper of. your baby and then counter act that with an attempt at empathy for people who are struggling with fertility - your doing the very thing you said you found hard to watch, that punctured you. If it is triggering you just see the photos, the post context goes out the window. Just don’t post !!!!

Hey all, its funny how life works because just a few months ago i was asking her questions on her insta stories... then I was told by a friend that she just gets her info from the Virgin media guys twitter...

So I started looking at their twitters around Lockdown 3.0 time for inside info - Richard Chambers, Zara King and Gavan Reilly. I also saw a few RTE guys twitters.

I was delighted with these guys giving the inside scoop and even agreed with a podcast who called them heroes of 2020.

However, in the last few days I have found myself at odds with Richard and Gavan. My sisters eldest is autistic and she is struggling at the moment with this lockdown. I noticed Richard retweeting a story of my sisters friend talking about her situation on the SAME DAY that Richard tweeted about how we should not open up anything until we have 100% vaccination... Seems a bit hypocritical no?

Then my fiancé got laid off the other day, and it came out of nowhere (its more like a furlough but we have had to get a loan freeze). Things are grim for my family right now. My other sister is in USA and my mam cries daily about not seeing her grandchildren. My cousin was hospitalized with COVID, so i do not take it lightly but we have to acknowledge that lockdowns are harrowing.

However, I am starting to get a bit suspicious of the likes of Gavan and Richard. I even think Stefanie is more level headed. Something inside me has snapped and I realise that the likes of Richard and Gavan do not take ANY days off and go to work every day and are LOVING THE ATTENTION. They are extremely judgmental and inconsistent. Are they trying to just get followers with their exaggerated tweets?

Like one of Richard's tweets was that 200,000 people a day will get the virus after a significant amount of people get vaccinated. I am not messing.
Gavan and Richard are journalists employed to report on covid, so would have to reportt both sides, as in how hard it is for people with specific conditions under lockdown and how some scientists say we should remain in lockdown til X target has been met, as far as i know they have to report every angle regardless of their own beliefs.

Stefanie is a dose, who takes their information, reports incorrect data and acts like shes done the world a favour. One thing off the top of my head is she says only essential workers can get their car serviced. Wrong

Sounds like on the whole your family has it tough, so i do hope you are okay. But she is misinterpreting the guidelines so please dont use her insta as a guide.

If you notice the trend, Stef just becomes a self appointed expert on anything she opts to discuss.
Covid ? Government elections ? Housing crisis? Mother and baby home? Adult autism? Small weddings? And now motherhood. For a supposed intelligent girl she completely forgets it’s all her subjective experience & not everyone’s will be the same but she will call autism if you try & open her eyes. It’s usually attention seeking or political agenda with her so let’s she which one it is.

I am still processing what I listened to so it is possible those 2 sentence from me were way off the mark. I'm not a mom and likely never will be either So may never get to experience or understand what it is all like.
A person's choice not to have multiple children should never be deemed selfish.

Jesus I'm just after catching up with this thread. What a dose. Some thoughts

-That poor husband. I bet the man is hardly out the door in the morning before she's ringing him with some crisis.

- "Hes made lots of compromises but I have to compromise every minute just to live" ie code for I do what the fuck I like and use autism as my blanket excuse for it all

- Didn't leave the house for three months . What . The . Fuck. Our first was really tough going, bad sleeper etc but we still went out every day with him. Would someone like her Mam sister etc not have told her to cop on and bring the child out

- I think this late diagnosed autism thing is not helpful. Does anyone remember that craze in the 2000s where people would say they have OCD and make little jokes about being tidy and washing their hands a lot. It really trivialised it for the people who really had it and it was a crippling disorder. My little boy has autism, thankfully its not too severe but its still tough at times taking care of him, we have make sure he has good routine and that he isn't overloaded with people trying to talk to him etc. To put him in the same boat as someone who (to me anyway) has no problem communicating or handling normal life is a bit galling

I didn't realise her husband to be became a widower at 30. You'd never know what's going on with people
They never discusses it but did a Q&A before and tbh I think Stefanie was a bit rude.. the question was something about past relationships and she said something like well Noel was married before and rolled her eyes.. if I didn’t know his wife had passed away I would have got the impression the ex wife was a cunt that gave them a hard time I never had a problem with Stefanie before that but it really changed my opinion of her, I just thought what if her family was watching that

Exactly ré the funeral. I went to a funeral recently, was the Dad of a friend I was close to in primary and secondary school. Have hardly seen either since but I still wanted to go because I knew them very well once. She's a sour bitch if she thinks her friend was trying to make it about him.
