So, as someone rather new to their world… is that for him, or for the baby they are trying for?
Welcome to the show! I don't guess we really know. The consensus around here seems to be that Shane, at least sometimes, wears diapers. The idea seems to be based upon some eagle-eyed viewers noticing a big pack of diapers packed into their SUV a couple of years ago when they were on the road (I think to Florida for their winter vacay). Liz was with them, and b/c they were all scared of COVID, they explained they all used "pee jars" and didn't get out of the vehicle. Or maybe all 3 of them wore diapers on that trip! I mean, if they felt it was appropriate to talk about 3 adults using "pee jars" I don't think 3 adults wearing diapers would be any worse. (I assume they had to stop for fuel along the way.)
Nor would an adult intentionally wearing a diaper on a long road trip be unprecedented as evidenced by this story that was all over the U.S. news about 15 years ago.

There are several photos/screenshots when Hannah was carrying Shane, and whoever was filming was shooting upwards where the seat of Shane's pants looked quite... squarish. I would think, if they were actually collecting "baby stuff" that they would have done a video about it or at least mentioned it. I just don't see these people having a baby, naturally or not.
It's not that it's shameful if Shane does wear diapers sometimes. Given his condition it's almost expected. What grinds a lot of people's gears is the way they INSIST that Shane is "just a normal guy who drinks gallons of beer and has mad, passionate sex with his 'hot' blonde Amazonian wife who just happens to use a wheelchair." Therefore, Shane would never need to wear diapers.

yeah it makes it worse for everyone to hide it and be ashamed …there a million reasons for incontinence and a million reasons not to be embarrassed about wearing depends or diapers or cleanly exposing of them with something hygienic like the diaper genie lol

I haven't watched any of their videos in ages, but wanted to check out their baby name ideas. Their answers were further proof, to my spidey senses and logical mind, that they have no intention to have kids. Shane hasn't thought of real names because he knows he can never produce children so what's the point, right? So he masks that by being his idiotic and unwitty self (thinking he's hiLaRioUs/edgy), and Hannah fumbled and bumbled her way through the question. This baby saga is just theatrical sideshow grifting - don't get caught up in the sensationalism and logistics of them actually conceiving and raising children.
In their latest podcast they said that they're going to travel to Los Angeles and live there for 3 months in an Air B and B to escape the cold weather in Minnesota. Get ready for bramis, overpriced smoothies and acid wash shorts. The fact that they're going to be in LA for 3 months proves that they're probably not doing the process at all since IVF requires a ton of monitoring and regular follow up visits/procedures. These attention whores always used to film doctors' visits and now they're just talking about IVF in an evasive way on podcasts. Their channel has jumped the shark and now they're looking for new content- if IVF doesn't work out in gaining views, they'll probably get a new dog or something.
That's interesting. Wanna bet, if they can, that they get that same quaint airBnB in Hollywood as they did last year? "Ordinary Joe" didn't get out of the starting gate, so what's the purpose of their trip out west this time? I find it really odd he’s not on tube fed nutrition with oral extras. It doesn’t make any sense to me. I’ve looked after so many people on tubes and he’s a prime candidate. Once his swallow goes he’s still fed. Seems strange not to. It’s not invasive. He had a feeding tube (at night) but...

I think there's big IVF/fertility clinic in LA. where other D-list celebs have gone. In particular, Jen Arnold, of "The Little Couple," and that bleach-blonde gal from Georgia, Angela, who married an African man, Michael. Angela is well past her baby-making days, but Michael's culture and his much lower age, along with the prodding from his family and friends to "leave his legacy," Angela consulted a fertility specialist just to see if she could still conceive.

How could I forget that IVF is huge in LA?! Pretty much every actress in Hollywood uses IVF and tries to keep it a secret for some reason. There's a higher rate of twins being born when people use IVF and a ton of actresses, celebrities and famous singers just so happen to have twin babies/kids
