It was in several of her stories earlier today I'll just check to see if they've been deleted

Yip all gone they've been deleted ! Sob fest snotting and crying about how she can't get out of bed some days but is well able for a trans Atlantic flight and a jolly in Disney !? No money to pay bills and two bailiffs calling in one day but hey lets book a holiday wtf
This is where the ‘influencer’ lifestyle is a total sham fest! Have to keep up with the Jones’ regarding content but at what cost? Bailiffs - nah, sod them, lets spend a few grand on Disney instead. Morons

She did reveal how they manage to keep going despite the overspending. Buried in her wacko piece about “money management” she reveals that they went the Bank of Granny for £600 to fix the car. i wonder what Granny thinks of her exemplary daughter’s spending habits as described in detail in the same post? She must be a nightmare for them they probably use the grandkids as an excuse for their neediness.

Do we know for sure her husband is unemployed?
From what I’ve seen she loves to gloat how she’s supported 3 kids and an unemployed husband for the past 5 years. I have long suspected he ghost ’writes’ a lot of the random dumb crap articles that pop up on her blog. He even did a guest advert post about switching from ciggies to vaping because ”it’s healthier for the kids”. I think characterising him as a waster is part fiction part fact...contrived to make her look good, but also contrived to scam money from her parents when they fall on hard times. Perhaps her parents dosh is their insurance plan. Lots of wankers think that way.

From what I’ve found through observing them, he was fired for cause by Royal Mail (matter of public record), met her while working in a call centre (there was a post on here from one of their workmates), then he had a job in Paignton in a hotel but got laid off because he took too many sick days (From her blog). He must be a right dumbass to have gotten to the age of 47 with no savings and that shitshow as his only accomplishment.

Accepting money off the same parents who she slags off on SM. The same parents who she blames for her food and anxiety issues, the same parents who she claims do so much for her sister but only want to see her children so her mum can post pictures of them on Facebook, the same parents who don't like John but congratulate her Ex when he becomes a father.

She was saying that people in debt or on low incomes need things to look forward to too and how she’s sick of holidays and Disney world only being for the rich and privileged.
I really hope that she doesn't have any vulnerable followers in a similar situation who are following her lead here and thinking 'sod it' and booking extravagant trips they can't afford because they 'need something to look forward to'. I mean, if I follow her logic, then I'm sick of Ferraris only being for the rich and privileged, so I'll just buy one and stop paying my bills to cover it

When I think about it, this is exactly the problem that makes me so irritated by Sparkles and Stretchmarks. So much rubbish content, one day all lar de dar I make £30k, another day it’s poor us let’s get a loan from Granny, but always with the underlying message that if you just act stupidly with money, you will get what you want with no thought to who gets hurt in the process.

Similarly — i think their relentless publishing of the childrens faces and personal details in pursuit of income from advertising, is just plain horrible parenting. they seem to have no notion of the danger they expose their children to with the trail of information they are embedding in internet records, or the perverts who are enjoying all the photos of their son lolling about in dresses.

Her teeth 🤢
With the amount of money they have or claim to have, surely dentistry work would be priority?

She and her whole family make me feel guilty. We can’t afford a holiday in Disney, that would be the ultimate dream. 😭

Don't feel guilty. She has such high expectations of what Disney will be like. Realistically three very hyper children who didn't enjoy the rides or were too shy to meet the Disney characters in Paris aren't going to make the most of Florida. She isn't physically fit enough for the walking either. It is all about keeping up with the other instagramers because Disney is the thing they all like to do.

An utter waste of money they can't really afford in the first place. No holiday is ever worth getting in debt for.

The last time we went to Disney Orlando we sat and watched the crowds, because the number of hugely obese people who visit there is quite remarkable. We counted at least 1 of every eight people was a massive jiggly lump, men or women, young or middle aged, even teenagers...all sauntering along drinking slurpies and stuffing their faces. It seems to attract such folk, so she will be finding “her people”. Hopefully she will stay there. Even If some sponsor gifted them the trip, they are about to find out how tourists get gouged right and left, so they’d better have working credit cards. Every little thing costs way over the odds. Our kids’ reaction to the place was meh. The youngest who was older than hers are now has absolutely no recollection of ever going there!

I cannot get my head around the home school issue. I’m a secondary school teacher but would never feel that my knowledge and skills lent themselves to delivering an entire curriculum to children of different ages.

I just hope her children don’t end up without any qualifications. I know they’re not everything but career choices depend on them.

I think schools are so much more than academia as well. Learning to thrive and building confidence away from your parents, peer group socialisation in a diverse group (not just other home schooled kids who probably have a similar home life to them), timekeeping, structure, conformity.

I do think home schooling has its place, but only for where the person teaching has the skills and capability to do so. I don’t think she’s got the capability of teaching beyond a P4 or 5 level.

Can she teach them sports? Musical instruments? Foreign languages? Will they get the opportunity to be in drama productions, competitive sporting events, STEM groups? No, no and no. But she’ll selfishly keep them home so she doesn’t have to drag her fat arse out of bed in the morning to get them to school on time and can avoid the scrutiny of the school when they decide to take impromptu days off to go on some stupid holiday they can’t even afford. She claims she’s protecting them from the big bad world and bullying, but in effect the lasting damage of what she’s doing will go far beyond the bullying they MIGHT encounter.

Imagine those children being at home when the bailiffs come to the door trying to enforce a writ. It’s mortifying. Those children will grow up with the harsh realities of poverty but won’t have the intelligence, qualifications or social skills to get themselves out of the cycle... she’s setting them up to fail.

I home schooled my children for two years for valid reasons. I am not a teacher but worked in a nursery school.

I didn’t keep them home due to laziness, but I gave them a very balanced education: we attended various groups & made core friendships.
the local authority couldn’t have phrased me enough with their work & knowledge. Even school complimented their desire to learn & was very forward for their age.

I know home schooling cannot be for everyone but unfortunately the small minority really make it look bad when it can be really lovely, fun and also rewarding for both child and parent.

Note: we attended art groups, pottery, multi-sports, forest schools, archery, regular meet-ups. It really is a shame that someone is using Home Education as a cover up to the big, wide world but I would really love to be a fly on the wall when she is providing them an education. Her YouTube video on Home Ed is good with the resources she uses, give her that.

Please don’t take my post as bashing home schooling as it really is not even close to that. Like I say home schooling absolutely has a place but only where the parent is capable of providing the child/children an education.

With her it is so so far from that and her reasons for doing it aren’t pure. She’s hid behind them potentially being bullied but we all know that it’s down to HER best interests and what she wants, as always. She continuously mentions she has a chronic illness where she says there are days she can’t get out of bed, and her anxieties prevent her from leaving the house at times so what teaching is done on these days? She also mentions that she’s constantly working so I’m assuming the children aren’t schooled during that time as her husband doesn’t seem involved (and honestly comes across a bit vacant). Those children really deserve better. The fact she can’t prioritise bills over luxury transatlantic holidays shows just shows how she does not have the children’s best interests at heart and is continuously selfishly choosing her own needs over the children’s/family in general.

Completely with you.
Thank you - I didn’t take any offence at all but it is a shame how the small minority make it seem as an easy way out of the school system. Children’s education is so important for their futures & I hope she justifies her reasons behind Home Ed.
