Me too! Horrifically itchy inner ears that I can’t scratch.
Doctor said it was glue ear or ezcema, no treatment available other than anti-histamines for the itch.
Got referred to audiology because of a persistent perforated ear drum and found out I had significant hearing loss in 1 ear. Even audiology couldn’t explain the severe itching. It’s SO annoying!!!

My ears itch so bad! I feel like I need to cut off my ears to scratch them & clean them out & then just glue them back on. I don't though but I am so tempted. Mine also leak blue sometimes. It's weird, like a blue ink pen.

Just my two pennies worth - I found out recently I have non-allergic rhinitis, which you would think causes nasal drip and sneezing. Alas no, the main symptom are itching/pain in my inner ears and headaches! For years my ears have driven me nuts and I just assumed it was scar tissue! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have this and its eczema, I'd see another doctor as it sounds odd to not help you! Mine itch SO much but I have a steroid ointment which helps which I use every few days. If I don't then I scratch them in my sleep causing them to bleed and it often leads to infections. I tried all sorts of natural remedies but sadly only steroids work for me.

Seeing if anyone is the same as me.

I suffer with chronically itchy ears. Other members of my family do as well (mum, sister, and probably my grandad from memory). I try not to scratch them, but it's so difficult sometimes. Doctors say it's not wax, but can't really offer me any relief.

Anyone else out there?

I have dermatitis in the ear canal. Basically, like dandruff but in the ear making the wax dry and flaky.
I used to have terrible itching but it can be relieved by keeping the wax soft with warm olive oil. It's improved greatly since I started doing that.
I used to have to excuse myself from meetings if the itching came on or go to the ladies if it started at my desk so I could violently rub my ears - not something you can do in front of people.
Good luck

I did try that but it never worked for me but worth a shot - olive oil from the chemist. I'd definitely go back though if it doesn't help as there are treatments available to help manage it x

Have you tried an anti-histamine?
No it’s not an allergy so they make no difference. I do use a nasal spray when they play up because if you use them too often it causes more problems. It’s very frustrating. I also have severe asthma of unknown cause so I spend my life trying and failing on various treatments! 🥺
