Watched this on Saturday mornings in primary school, as well as CD:UK when it came on afterwards. I remember the "Challenge Ant" bit where if Ant lost the quiz, he'd wear a dunce cap and everyone would sing "You're Thick" at him.

I bloody loved SMTV alive when I was a kid, I was in my tween years when it was at its best so I remember it well. I've just had a look on YouTube and there are a few episodes on there, so I think I will have to watch them at some point and relive my youth :)

Loved it then and I think it’s more funny now as an adult 😂 you would never get away with it now.

Ant and Dec were so much funnier then!

I used to watch Live & Kicking. But then SM.TV came a long and suddenly L&K seemed really twee and safe in comparison. Kids programmes on ITV were always a bit more edgier (Blue Peter or Fun House anybody? No comparison is it? 😂). I think Byker Grove was the only kids show on the BBC that no one felt embassed to admit that they watched. Interestingly after L&K ended the BBC tried to make their own edgier Saturday Morning shows to emulate the success of SM.TV. They just couldn’t compete with that winning formula.

Omg I loved SM:TV as a kid! The reunion show was lovely to catch up on old memories! I wish they included Captain Justice! ''Always disappears with a puff!!''

I think Ant and Dec once said in an interview about SMTV years ago was that the jokes that they did on that show on a Saturday morning they wouldn't even try now on a Saturday night show programme!

my friend had this too! Luckily her parents still had a vcr so in our late teens early twenties we’d watch it hungover on a Sunday morning.

Anty and Decky were hilarous, ladies man ladies man ladieeeeees man.

Everyone who was being interviewed was saying how it was so amazing and there will be nothing like it. They’re so right, it’s far to un-PC, so many people would complain

I love their version of the 12 days of Christmas

People would be so offended by it now...imagine a kids presenter yelling at kids for gettin wonky donkey wrong lol

I loved watching this but what made me laugh is I gasped at that final episode of Chums with Mariah and at the time I had no idea who she was lol. I was more in awe at Liberty X and Hear'say being in the same room together.

I had forgotten how funny Wonky Donkey was - just week after week of kids calling in with answers that didn't rhyme :LOL::LOL:

I was in my 20s when it was on so outside the target audience somewhat but still used to bloody love it! We'd often be found discussing it on a Mon morning at work :ROFLMAO:

I loved SMTV! I was a late teen when it was on but I loved the humour. No one will ever be able to make another program like it again, there is no way they’d get away with some of those things now!
