Smart watches

Can anyone recommend any good smart watches, I got a fitbit years ago an quite liked it, it started to get a bit old an I then wanted swimming which it couldn't do so decided to treat myself to the versa, I've been through two versas now an find it getting worse by the day, it never scans food, the sleep is messed up, it picks an chooses when it wants to track my period an I feel like the heart beat isn't anywhere near what it is, it usually shows high when I feel quite calm, it never syncs either, takes forever to do it, I know it might be a sign it's getting old but I just feel like it's time to try somthing else, they have taken all the fun out things with making most premium an now you don't get the little badges (or at least I can't find them anymore)

Ideally I'd like it to do most of what the fitbit does like sleep, period, steps, heartbeat etc as well as take it swimming, if it has extras like stress tracking then that would be great but I'd like the other things to be covered

I can't go insane with price so anything above £200 is going be a no, I also have really small wrists so prefer it's not gonna be a massive bulky thing, the versa is the biggest I'd like to go, an am a bit wary of the Radley one as my mum has that an the things on charge daily

If you’re happy to spend the £200 I’d thoroughly recommend a garmin vivoactive 4s. Does everything you want. It’s a little larger than a versa but looks like a proper watch - I also have teeny tiny wrists and it doesn’t feel tooo bit.

If you have an iPhone I highly suggest an apple watch. Think brand new the cheapest model now is 300€ (not sure about £ sorry!) but as a brand new model has just come out I’m sure you’ll be able to either find an older model at a reduced rate or buy second hand.
I have the generation 3 and love it! Does all the things you mentioned while being just the right size for my small wrists and the syncing across all apple products is brilliant. Only down side is the battery especially compared to the fitbit but you get used to it!

I am looking at the moment too. The previous Samsung watches (Watch 4) seem to be going for a good price at the minute. I am so tempted to buy one, but the battery life seems to let them down. Plus you can only get the most out of them if you have a Samsung phone. I currently have the Garmin that is mentioned above, which I like, but it's getting a bit long in the tooth now and I feel that tech is moving on fast! It's great if you exercise though, I use mine for tracking running, walking and pool swimming and it needs charging every 3 days-ish. I think I'm going to wait and see what the new Google watch is like when they announce it in a couple of weeks.

Probably should have added to my original post, I switched from Fitbit to garmin and honestly haven’t looked back

Another vote for Garmin, I have the venu SQ, I use it every day, battery life is amazing and there is an app for pretty much anything you want to track. I also downloaded a very cute unicorn sitting in a rainbow as the watch face 😂

They do Black Friday deals, yes.

There are so many models of Garmin out there and it depends what you're after? Anything with a 5 in the model name, (735, 235, 45, etc) has wrist based heart rate.

Thanks I'll look at the ones with a 5 in them since I like that to be monitored

Another vote for Garmin, switched from Fitbit to the Venu 2 and I absolutely love it. It had everything I need

Does the garmin also have a really good phone app that let's you keep track of everything an not drain the phones battery? As well as not have everything as premium like fun tasks

I suppose that's what drew me to the fitbit, being able to do those competitions with others until they starting making the majority premium

it does, it’s called Connect, you can track anything you want/download. Health, periods, breathing, weight, activities. You can also take part in fitness challenges
