Has anyone seen his videos on YouTube or TikTok? I started using his product recommendations like CeraVe and the Ordinary and I am a total convert, I trust him with my life haha

I think he is great I really enjoy his content!! First port of call if I want to find out about a product

Not really a fan of him tbh - I know he says it at the start of every video but he’s not at all qualified in dermatology/skincare so I don’t feel I can trust his opinion? I’d rather get advice from a genuine qualified expert than someone who just googles to research - he calls himself a skincare expert but it literally means nothing without credentials.
I liked the first couple videos of his I watched then started to find him really annoying - the constant click bait thumbnails for react videos with him pulling a shocked face do my head in. That blue hair Brad Mondo did on him looked horrific too!

He calls himself a specialist. The audacity.
Plenty of dermatologists to follow on social media, he isn't one of them.

He says he's a specialist but I saw on Reddit that he works for youth to the people in Sephora(?) - a brand he constantly shills.

Just finished watching the Joey King routine and I'm shocked at how he talks about how terrible a product is, but still links an affiliate link in case someone wants to buy it and give him a few cents.

Ahh is this the brand where he's considered a "skincare specialist"? It's always annoyed me that he doesn't disclose what company he works for.

His fans are the most irritating thing about him tbh. Critical thinking and not taking someones opinion as gospel? Not found there. Like this is ridiculous. People need to learn to fact check peoples opinions, because people see one opinion and take it as fact. This just isn't in skincare, it's part of everything.

He needs to stop saying "skin care specialist" because it's just causing too many problems. It's confusing for the kids apparently, even though he states it all the time that he's not qualified in his videos. Also, he says he asked people if it's okay that he goes by that title...how does he know if people were just being nice and didn't want to be honest. I mean, he says he's a skincare specialist because he knows one single brand inside out and teaches others about that brand...It's like working in a pet store and saying you have as much knowledge as a vet. If I work in a deciem store, does that make me a skincare specialist too?

Also, it is annoying that he hates and dogs on fragrance all the time...yet the brand he works/worked for, use fragrance in their products. Even if it's "natural" and from "whole plants" "fruit extracts" ...it's still fragrance.

Found this thread because I had to search for him to see if anyone else was talking about him/has similar views!

Says he’s a skincare specialist but on his reaction videos 9 times out of 10 he’s “not heard of this brand or product” ...so what he’s basically a skincare specialist but only in CeraVe and the ordinary? He literally just googles and lists off ingredients!

Don’t understand why so many people take his word as gospel!?

Labeautyologisy and makeupforwoc would never! Both esthetician’s with amazing skin care advice. It’s because of them my skin barely breaks out - they both recommended cerave and using spf daily and I barely have any dark marks from acne cause they clear up so quickly!

I don't care what he is... I've been following his advice and damn.... my skin has never been this good! And obviously I'm not the only one.
