Ok I know I am just miserable but why cancel a wedding and loose a deposit when she was so early on in her pregnancy and is not only a healthcare professional but a midwife who knows all too well that things can go wrong early on. I may be too much of a realist but I think that’s crazy.

She needs to get the pre recorded ads out to get paid (I don't think she even declared the ad) and obviously isn't in the frame of mind to create content, which is understandable. I wonder which way she will go with this account now because they have finished the house and she's always saying she doesn't want to be on Instagram.

Doesnt want to be on Instagram but happy to cash in! She’s also said before how much comments affect her so would be better for her to leave

She wanted to start a YouTube channel at one point I think and make her Instagram more about herself but she’s too sensitive for it.

She also isn’t engaging. If that’s her fashion content it’s a joke 🤣 it was fun following her Reno and DIY projects but she’s over that now

i wouldn’t be surprised if this is why some home accounts sell up and start over.

I've got to say I agree with you all. I liked her home DIY on a budget showing us how she's done things, like her shelves and her porch. I guess we were gonna see a nursery next. I don't like the midwife talk purely because I'm not interested and her fashion isn't for me and now there is no wedding on a budget I don't know why I'm still following

Is it common to swap and change job roles so often within the nhs? I’d look at her CV and think she wouldn’t stay longer than a few months.

As a midwife you can rotate between antenatal, delivery suite / birth unit, postnatal or a specialised area such as continuity of care, safeguarding, breastfeeding etc. It’s part of the role and keeps all our skills fresh and up to date.

She’s obviously reading here as she’s done that post about how midwifes change roles regularly

can’t believe she’s still checking this thread religiously. Obviously needs to step away from social media.
She shouldn’t have a public account IMO.

Do you know what, i really like jody. Shes the sort of person id want as a friend. Shes strong, straight talking and you know she would be there for you.

I like that Shes real in a very fake insta world. I like that she doesn't hide who she is.... i might not like the readily ads that everyone is doing, but i can't say i blame her and i just tap past them.

Her miscarriage was heartbreaking, but i think she should be applauded for talking about it, that takes strength. Things need to be normalised so people dont feel so alone.

Also, shea nhs, in the middle of a pandemic, trying to help pregnant women and manage everything around that, with all the restrictions, frankly i dont care if she wants to wear a top with a massive bow. Whatever brings a smile to her face. Anyone in the nhs is an utter hero right now.

When I saw her stories I immediately thought she was responding to here, but I don't think that is such a bad thing. If I had a tattle thread I'd definitely read it. Apart from the first time she saw it when I think she reacted wrongly by getting upset and posting loads of stories, I can't blame her for reading what people have said here - wondering if that might be what a lot of people are thinking and wanting to clear it up. Not like she came on being pass agg about trolls being awful about it, just answering something posed in this thread with a bit more info.

It must be hard to stay away completely from your thread if you have one and I think she handled it really well this time.

After my initial not sure-ness earlier in the thread, I’m back to thinking she’s fab. She’s clearly been through an awful time, I think she’s maybe a bit lost with the purpose of her account now she’s done renovating but I like that’s she’s honest about the ads, stuff she’s agreed to and is clear that she’s about to post one. I respect that. I also have a lot of respect for the way she explained the job moving. I work in an industry where moving more than every couple of years would be frowned upon so that was a bit of an eye opener for me

Same. I’ve always liked her, except maybe the financial stuff, because some people will find that baffling, the big house, nice car, holidays, renovating a house while still a student etc but she seems like a nice woman, who doesn’t shy away from the bad stuff.

Feel like she keeps going on and on about the reason their dieting is because TERRY had an incident at work and TERRY got called a fat c^*t and TERRY got told he had put on loads of weight. And TERRY is self conscious about his weight. He’s not even active on her social media so why is she shouting his buisness out to strangers. So out of order. Why does she need to continually point that out. It’s so out of order.

She was saying today how he doesn't clean etc, I think he could be suffering after the miscarriage and throwing himself into his gadgets. Most bouts of depression (don't want to really throw that word around) result in not caring for the home etc.

Yes maybe that is a part of why the comments about his weight have hit him so hard too. Poor him. I just felt it was quite cruel of her to continually mention the reason for the dieting was because Terry had been called out about weight gain and was upset about it when he seems quite private and that’s very personal. She could’ve just said they wanted to be healthier for when they TTC again.
