Does anyone follow either of them? I used to be a big fan of Eisley and Say Anything, but god, their social media accounts these days are such a train wreck. I know they've been discussed a bit on other places like GOMI and Reddit, but didn't see a thread for them here.
A bit of background:
- Their kids are 'homeschooled', which essentially translates to them being unschooled. They have no structure, are often up at all hours of the night and it seems the older two are often expected to look after the younger ones.
- Their eldest daughter, Lucy, has a completely rotten tooth that Sherri sometimes photoshops. They generally have poor dental hygiene and have had a history of cavities/teeth being removed due to their excessive sugar consumption.
- CPS was called on them at some point (rumoured to be by Sherri's younger brother + his wife, as they no longer follow them) and Sherri was forced to go to a state-mandated rehab for alcohol issues.
- Max has mental health issues, but basically uses it as an excuse to do none of the parenting. His bipolar means he often goes on rants and overshares a lot about their life online.
- At least one of their nannies has quit due to being overwhelmed.
- Neither of them have real jobs, even though they've spoken about money issues and clearly aren't making much from music these days.
- They have a history of scamming fans. Max did a thing where you could 'purchase' a song written by him, and many either didn't receive theirs, or received them like a year later. They also set up a gofundme once to fund a tour bus, and had weird 'rewards' like their kids could be involved in a fan's wedding. (I don't think anyone actually purchased this, thankfully)
