Shark vacumn always breaking ? Not picking stuff up?

I’ve cleaned all the filters , all the pipes, emptied the drums , took everything out , cleaned and back in and it’s just not picking anything up at all??? Nothing stuck anywhere . It’s Since I vacuumed the new carpet which had all little bits of threads to get up after the men left. Seems to have ruined it by vacuuming it wish I’d sweeped the bits up first. Any tips

This happened before as well and needed a new bottom to the vacumn which shark sent out but doubt they will again

have you checked the under bar isn’t blocked the threads? I had this problem with my shark and I cut through loads of wire/thread and it started picking up again.

I did the same thing after I cleaned the filters. It had no suction and it kept spitting stuff back at me! I had to take it apart again and inspect it all with a torch, there was a bit of card wedged in the pipe near the top that I had to scrape out with a fork. Sounds like there is something stuck in there

I LOVE mine. Carpets look new and fluffy every time I vacuum and fab on hard floors too. Easy to do the stairs, deffo worth it.

Love my Shark! Mine is the corded upright anti hair wrap pet version. I’ve had it just over a year.

Makes my carpets look brand new everytime, it’s unbelievable the amount it picks up!

I love my shark but we have all hard floors at the moment and I often think it’s scratching them?! Only had it about a year and I’ve had it all apart and cleaned it out - what can I do?!

I have had mine a year and a half 2 new heads sent the whole thing back today for a replacement I wouldn’t buy again I have a small house 1 cat n it barely works and I do it daily and keep it clean brush tools cleared etc

Yeah it’s on hard floor but constantly like it’s dragging grit along the floor scratching it

We've had ours for years. The first one we had for about two years before we received a recall notice, and it was replaced for free! (Apparently some models in that batch had caught fire). This one is the purple model and goes really well. I love that you can wash everything, and easily source back-up triangular foam bits and filters.

Is the anti hair wrap any good? I have long hair and shed A LOT. it makes me wretch when I have to cut my hair out of the brush regularly I have a vax cordless one atm.

I had to do a brush clean after around 6 months. My hair sounds similar to yours (not sure how I have any left on my head!). Still much better than having to do it CONSTANTLY only the older models.

That’s the one thing I regret with my Shark, I wish I’d waited and got the anti hair wrap model as I have long hair and find mine gets snarled up quite quickly. Other than that I love it, the motorised pet tool is life-changing!
