Selling on Etsy

Yes it’s easy. We started on Etsy. Only problem is they are putting up fees . Before we moved off Etsy we was making 15k a month on it, so it’s well worth it
just to add we stil,use it but got our own site and used insta etc to push people there instead

In a nutshell, you are charged listing fees, transaction fees, advertising fees ...

You have to work out if it's worth it. I used to make candles and melts, and my being based in NZ meant the shipping was upwards of $20 to most places (aside from NZ, Australia and the Pacific Islands). The odd person was happy to pay it, but it just became too much effort for very little reward in the end, so I stuck to selling via my own site and Trade Me, an NZ marketplace.

If you're in Europe or the US, then I'm sure it would be very worthwhile.

Honestly just give it a go. You have nothing to loose. We found most people pricing at 99p or 2.99 for etc, so we went in at 97, 2.97. Then when people search by price yours is first

Hi all. I am after some advice from anyone who sells on Etsy please. I have been producing hand made cards for a while, mainly for my own personal use but I want to start selling on Etsy. Can anyone advise - is this easy to do? I have an Instagram account which has a very small following but I hopefully want to grow this if possible. Specific questions are - is Etsy easy to set up and manage? I am not the most technologically advanced person but I want to take this step and see what comes from it. Thank you all in advance

I would say yes it is quite easy - watch youtube videos! There are so many step by step guides.

Also look at other Etsy card shops, maybe make a small purchase and see what the whole process is.

I'm always confused about Etsy fees, what are they going up to?
