On one hand Ii do feel for Selena because she clearly has her struggles and is proof that money isn't always the road to happiness but on the other she seems like such hard work. I feel exhausted just from hearing about her daily strifes. Constant drama and she could quit the worst of it by, as the poster above me suggests, ditching social media.

I can't understand how people continue to be so addicted to it when it is actively harming them. It's another drug.

Yeah I agree I do feel sorry for her with the struggles she’s had cause end of the day she’s human like us all but she does seem like hard work sometimes and kind of immature she throws shade at people and it makes me think you’re 30 you need to stop getting involved in drama and causing it and just get yourself off social media and live a peaceful quiet life.

I honestly think it would be the best thing for her to not be on social media at all just deleting her accounts. Having people run her accounts isn’t going to make a difference or make things easier for her like she thinks cause end of the day she’s still putting pictures and tiktoks of herself out there for people to see and comment on and then she can’t handle what people are saying about her.

I also don’t know if I believe her when she says she doesn’t have access to her social media accounts I’m sure she most likely has made a random account without anyone knowing to look at things here and there cause things she posts seem a bit off sometimes like she’s trying to prove a point which is definitely not good for her mind to be using her time for that. She has a lot of money she’s financially secure and her rare beauty page can be used to promote her makeup so she really doesn’t need to putting herself out there on her own social media account when she knows it’s a trigger to her mental health.

today she’s commented on a random TikTok about Hailey Bieber pretending to gag at Taylor Swift’s name (petty from both of them but whatever), become the most followed woman on instagram again, and then said she’s taking a break from socials?


if I was her I’d just let a management team handle my socials, I rarely see anything about her career or music, it’s always some petty drama or ‘shade’.

I remember seeing a thing years ago when she was the most followed person and she said she hated being the most followed person on Instagram, so I don't blame her for wanting to come off for a bit

Yeah I think breaks from social media are healthy for anyone. It’s just all I see are tweets/comments comparing her and Kylie, or her and Hailey, I’d sack it off too if I was her.

For her the sake of her mental health and her reputation she would be better off deleting all her social media accounts but keep the rare beauty instagram page cause that’s her business page but everything else in my opinion she should delete cause she she doesn’t need to be using social media it’s not doing her mind any good. She’s been through a lot with her physical and mental health so I feel bad for her for that but at the same time she’s 30 years old which is very young but you need to have a level of maturity and getting involved in drama isn’t a good look for her image cause honestly at this point I just associate her with Justin , hailey and drama which is sad cause she should want people to think of her music and acting when they see her not drama.

The relationship she had with Justin bieber for years and then the abrupt ending and 2 months later he’s engaged to hailey and getting married not long after that of course all of that cause Selena a lot of pain she had a mental breakdown because of it but I also think she was shocked because she was so used to them being on and off for years with him always running back to her choosing her over every girl and then suddenly he stops choosing her and goes for stalker bully hailey bieber so I think Selenas confidence went down hill from that she probably compared herself to hailey and other girls which might have made her get work done to her face that she didn’t even need but she did it cause she’s a insecure person from everything she’s gone through. I personally don’t think she’s fully over what happened between her and Justin she tries too hard to act like she’s happy and happy single.

Sometimes she seems happier and she is successful but other times it’s like she’s putting on an act and I think being on social media is really not good for her cause she’s seeing things that make her insecure and getting herself into drama that she could avoid by not using instagram and TikTok. I think her confidence and happiness would be a lot better if she stays off these apps permanently. Her team can run her rare beauty page. She clearly is using social media commenting on things and things she posts it’a obviously her posting that not her team and I think that’s a big mistake she made getting active on socials again.

What is happening with her? Reading through /r/fauxmoi about her leaving social media and the consensus seems to be that she’s a professional victim and causes drama and runs away. My TikTok has really been making me believe it’s Hailey causing the drama

Basically she commented sticking up for Taylor Swift on a tiktok of Hailey sticking her finger in her mouth to spew at the mention of Taylor. I’m not sure what the fall out of it was because I didn’t see anyone calling her out for it but she seems to have used that as the excuse to bounce.

Selena is an attention seeker and a pot stirrer. How the hell is she not over Justin Bieber yet, he’s been married for years get over it already and move on with your own life!

Selena has a history of being horrible towards anyone linked with Justin. She had an issue with Barbara Palvin, then Sofia Richie and now it’s Hailey. She can’t stand the fact that he isn’t falling at her knees.

To be fair hailey isn’t exactly innocent, definition of a mean girl

Hailey does have a mean sly streak , she’s a copycat in every way possible that I am embarrassed for her. She is jealous of Selenas career, success,popularity and the history Justin has with her. Selena on the other hand should not be using social media at all it’s not good for her , it makes her act very weird and doesn’t bring out a nice side to her. She’s getting herself involved in drama , attention seeking and stirring the pot. Ever since Justin moved on in 2018 and stopped chasing her she hasn’t mentally been ok since then cause she’s not over him. I think it shocked her ego that he wasn’t running back to her anymore when for so long she was always the girl he came back to and wanted over anyone else. I don’t think she could believe that he wasn’t chasing her anymore.

I also think she’s jealous and has anger towards him and I don’t know what went down between them to cause them to split in the end so maybe he led her on in 2018 or maybe he didn’t but she’s holding onto that anger inside her and she won’t ever move on unless she learns to accept that he’s moved on whether his marriage is fake and boring behind closed doors who knows but either way he is married so commenting on tiktoks that have a video of Hailey in them or someone speaking about Hailey being a bully it just makes it look like Selena wants there to be drama she wants to always remind people of Justin hurting her cause she’s not happy. Yeah it’s great to defend your friends but in this case it came across attention seeking. I think Selena is battling with insecurities too which is sad but I think she would feel so much better not using social media not taking selfies for a while and comparing herself to other people cause she is seeking validation on social media that’s not healthy. Also if you need to take that many social media breaks cause you’re overwhelmed why not just delete social media?

Tik Tok has made be believe that it is totally Hailey and that Hailey has always fanned over/ tried to copy Selena. I believe a few things recently could be coincidences, I don't know what to believe about the eyebrow thing (if true they need to grow up).
To be honest I didn't know anything about Selena/ Kylie/ Justin/ Hailey drama but read up on Reddit about the whole thing after seeing a Tik Tok last year.

Imagine being Hailey- she MUST be wildly insecure about Justin and Selena knowing that they were on/off for years and then he suddenly committed to her. Not that it excuses any of her behaviour. She needs better taste in men!

I don’t feel bad for anyone involved. If Hailey got married to a man she isn’t confident is over his ex that’s her own doing. If Selena and Justin are still hung up on an ex from their teen/early 20s that’s on both of them. They’re all far too old to be acting this way.

Double post but it’s been playing on my mind how funny it is that the public narrative of Selena has completely shifted in a short amount of time. Her doc came out and (at least on my end) the vast majority of the public were shunning her because of the donor drama, and then coincidentally a few months later all this stuff resurfaces of Hailey Bieber and the Jenners being mean girls against Selena and Selena is oh so the victim. Very convenient timing

To be fair I think they’re all mean girls, Selena included. Not a single one of these women act their age!

I hate it when people do a big 'I'm leaving social media' announcement and then come back on 24 hours later. I've really started to dislike Selena over all of this. She desperately needs to move on. I agree that she is always the victim. Hailey got dragged in the comments section of her birthday post for Justin, people need to just accept they are married and drop it!

The leaving social media announcement and then comes back the next day was very attention seeking I don’t know what’s going on with her she must be bored and unhappy in her life cause no other 30 year old would behave how she does. Yeah they’re married whether people like them or not the fact is they are married and Selena is just making herself look like she can’t move on. I just know this won’t be the end of this though I feel like there will always be new drama about those 3 and part of me thinks selena wants people to talk about her and Justin which is immature.
