I’m not sure how much we’re allowed to talk about this but there’s a lot about it on Reddit. Most of the threads I go on have good self moderation but I can’t deny there are *some* weird and obsessed people on here, just like there are on most internet sites.
Having said that, these influencers do overshare and at some point, something awful is going to happen that’s not going to be anything to do with Tattle. Kids are being taught at school about internet safety and then they’re going home to their idiot parents who are plastering them all over the net, showing their houses, and giving out intimate details of their lives without a care in the world. And they’re living in cloud cuckoo land if they think that’s all going to stop and sort itself out if they take Tattle down. It won’t obviously. For example, I follow a fandom on tumblr for a tv show (purely to watch the insanity these days as I’ve long lost interest in it) and there’s someone on there who works out exactly where the lead actor is at any given time, down to hotels and flights purely from promotional posts and fan pics. The internet and fanatical minds are a scary thing (and none of those people have probably ever heard of Tattle).
