We finished the last thread...

feeling bilious over a semi-naked image of Gregg Wallace;
raising a toast to Gerry Marsden;
still laughing at Hillary Baldwin's Manuel impression.

And much more besides. As you were folks. 😘

Gerry did some amazing songs that even young people like myself can really appreciate. I think he will have found it funny himself that Gerry indeed had a pacemaker.

I remember, back in March, sobbing in my car on my way to work the last day of school before lockdown when all the radio stations across Europe played You'll Never Walk Alone at the same time. It was really moving and added a new dimension to the song for me.

I was eating out at Nando’s in Southport a good few years ago and Ross Barkley walked in (this was as he just got into the first team) He was told there was a queue, like you’d expect on a saturday night, and he would need to take a seat till a table was free. He then proceeded to talk quite loudly to the waitress and use the “do you know how I am?” bullshit. From what I could gather the waitress kinda shrugged it off and basically said wait for a table or there’s a few other restaurants on the strip. He reluctantly sat and waited with a face like a smacked arse. A young lad approached Ross for a photo and he just completely dismissed him and told one of his crew to move him on.
I never understand rude celebs and the whole “do you know who I am” act like yeah it must annoying all the attention but I think it comes with the job 🤷🏻‍♀️ And footballers aren’t setting good examples for young kids who literally worship the ground they play football on. I mean don’t go to bleeping Nando’s on a Saturday night for a “cheeky Nando’s”

eugh hate “a cheeky Nando’s”

Me too. I call it my post-baby belly. People are surprised when I tell them he’s 20 😂😂😂
:ROFLMAO: Same!! Even worse i think if like me you'd had a c-section still waiting for those over stretched muscles to regroup/recover and i've tried pilates yoga the lot!
Still at least i got two stroppy teenagers that eat me out of house and home use up all the broadband allowance and leave the toilet seat up!!
So i didn't do too badly right!:D

Piers Morgan. Do any of you tattlers know if he stayed at his London home for the festivities or did he hot foot it away?

’At the end of the storm is a golden sky’, we need to keep reminding ourselves of that.

That's surely bullshit!? Way too much.

ITV don't have that much money sloshing around surely. Because if Rita is getting £1m, the other judges should be getting it as well. Joel Dommett won't be getting that much, but will be getting six figures. The 12 celebs in masks will all be getting six-figure plus fees as well. Add in the production costs to make the show and paying for the rights to The Masked Singer. The ratings surely aren't that good to justify such high fees.

£1m for Rita to make silly guesses and do naff all else is stupid.

I had a friend who wasn’t famous but very glam. Now and again she’d do the “do you know who I am” thing being cheeky. It always worked. She wasn’t a dick she was the funniest, kindest most generous person and died of cancer age 31. She’s the only person in my head that ever got away with that one.

It’s one of my great memories of her.
