Where things currently stand:

Nicola for the first time in her career is MIA while getting headlines.

Peter Murrell, her husband, was arrested this morning.

SNP hq was searched and their house in Glasgow has been taped off and has had a tent erected infront - resembles the West's house.

Humza is still useless.

It's infuriating how Nicola Sturgeon seems to be able to get away with everything she could ever want to.

Wretched woman. Her betrayal of women and girls alone is abhorrent but this embezzlement case makes me so pissed off, she should be behind bars for that.

After searching SNP HQ and also the Murrell household vigorously, Police Scotland have confirmed that the economic case for Scotland leaving the UK simply doesn't exist. They couldn't find it anywhere. It never existed.

Nicola Sturgeon enlists Aamer Anwar to combat accusations she knew about Peter Murrell embezzlement
The former First Minister claimed this morning that she wouldn't be commenting further on the case involving her husband - but has now enlisted a lawyer to fight back against suggestions she knew he was embezzling cash from the SNP.

The gift that keeps giving.
Nothing says 'as dodgy as fuck' quite like hiring Aamer Anwar.

Turned family against each other.

Turned friends against each other.

Didn’t respect the outcome. Was still trying to pit people against each other.

I won’t speak ill of him, but I certainly won’t gush about him either.

I just cannot believe that so many people voted SNP back in. I mean look at the disaster of their government these last number of years. Look at the sleaze, lies, corruption, alleged embezzlement, motor homes, cover ups etc. Look at the state of the SNP run councils, the Scottish Health Service. It is dreadful.

This Country and the UK needs major change. The Tories did a dreadful job over 14 years, Labour are making it even worse, full of their own sleaze, corruption, lies, coverups etc.

We need business people governing our Country not egotistic politicians whom many are only out there to feather their own and their families caps. It really is a depressing thought and I worry for the future of the UK. What these parties have done to both Scotland and England over the last two decades is unforgiveable and none of them deserve to be voted back in to just continue wrecking and ruining everything. 😥.

Any head screwed on Scot will tell you that the money from Scotch, shortbread and battered Mars bars ain't gonna support a country
This is bull. I'll never support the SNP but there is a hell of a lot more to our country than Whisky, shortbread and battered Mars Bars.

That is a lot of money! Much more than I had assumed. How the heck did he manage that. Really speaks to how mis-managed the SNP is.

I bloody hope people remember this come May.

I know none of the options are great but I don't think I can bear the thought of another SNP government.
For years, the SNP was completely managed by a "married" couple. No one was allowed to look at the finances (not even the treasurer!). Most of the drones didn't even think to ask either. I have to be careful what I say because I know a bit of background to this, but the idea that only one of the gruesome twosome is responsible and the other completely unknowing is laughable.

Now, now everyone! Of course Nicola knew absolutely nothing about this - and it's shocking for any of you to suggest otherwise! I'm appalled!
And don't dare start suggesting a fiddle about keeping the trial date until after the Holyrood elections!

I support Scottish independence but have never been a fan of the SNP.

I defo think that this extravaganza is what made Nicola go from "I've got plenty left in the tank" to "cheerio"

No matter how much the SNP say she didn't know about the police turning up to arrest her old man, the timing is defo suspicious for her - she chucks it - they elect the new leader - week later her man is lifted!!!

If he's had his fingers in till, he needs the book thrown at him. If she knew, she needs the book thrown at her.

And!!! Let's hope the Met police can also get their fingers put their bahookies and start lifting folk for the ££££ that was spent on PPE that wasn't fit for purpose. Starting with DAME Michelle Mone!!!

But I suppose they won't be able to build a jail big enough for all the politicians who are crooks.

I know nothing about police work, but I do wonder what can come from confiscating her tea bags?

Or maybe that's not tea in them?!

Looks like they're also taking away half a bottle of milk and oats 🤷‍♀️

Yes don't forget the haggis exports, tat shops on the Royal Mile, and the royalties from Trainspotting re-releases 😁
Head screwed on Scot here. Oil & Gas, renewables, food and drink, forestry, textiles. Scotland has way more than the cliched tropes. But it’s also painfully racing to the bottom with the SNP & Greens doing incredible damage just to be different from UK gov. There’s no focus on real growth, investments, strategies on future industries, learning - apart from the same lines rattled out by sturgeon et all ‘independence, the Tories did it, the dog ate the motorhome and ran away etc….’ Why is focus on GRR, protected fishing and min wage/benefit? Because there’s zero strategy behind independence, there’s even zero strategy without independence. Scotland could do so much more, it’s not overly inhabited, has huge natural resources (wind/water etc). It’s also the birthplace of some clever stuff but now in 2023 and years of SNP it’s a race to the bottom. I’m sure I read 40% of Scot’s don’t pay tax which isn’t too different from Uk as a whole (and a sad state all round as it reflects too many in low incomes) but in Uk the top 1% bracket pay in 30% of all tax. In Scotland the top bracket is 0.7% of people but they pay in 65% of all tax. And they want to tax more (or more like they know they will need to if they continue with policies). Huge drug deaths. Alcohol issues. And bugger all aspiration to lead and inspire. Instead we have a cult who are only just being challenged and we find they lack severely what most Scot’s find natural - honesty. We are terrible liars - we genuinely will just say fuck it, this is how it is. I hope there is much more to come. All cults eat themselves inside out eventually. (I would love to say the same fate will hit the Tories but my god they get away with astounding levels of utter incompetent bullshit).
