I’ve had a much better day in terms of suppression and appetite so I’m feeling better even if my skin is not my friend right now 😭 I’m hoping it’s just the shock to the system about how much water and fruit and veg I’m now eating 😂

I have a random question. Just booking to do a skydive and the medical form asks if I am taking any repeat medication. If so Dr has to sign off. I doubt my Dr will have a clue if this has any affect!

Anyone know?

Been feeling quite nauseous since I took my 1st injection this morning. It comes in waves. Right now I'm feeling nauseous and hungry at the same time...is this normal? Should I eat something small or have a protein shake even? I've had porridge for breakfast, turkey sandwich and protein yogurt for lunch and for dinner a breast of chicken and loads of veg broccoli, peas in a pod, corn on the cob and Brussels. 2 rice cakes as snacks and I'm drinking plenty of water

But but, tit Shot refers to my specials little frozen bottles of prune juice in case of emergency. Apparently Jack Monroe stole my idea (or something) 😂
Ah that was the “get up and go” prune breakfast smoothie, commonly known as the “tit yourself smoothie”. Might be worth revisiting the recipe.

At this early stage in your journey, if that was me I would try and eat something like a slice of toast, something plain and see it is eases it.

I saw a post from a Dr the other day, prune juice in a mug, tablespoon of butter, microwave just enough to melt the butter and warm the juice a bit, stir and down. Apparently it’s never failed her getting someone to have a 💩 I don’t have that issue but might help someone out 😂

Just to join in the 💩chat, I was really constipated but I got some Dulcolax (pico liquid) and it sorted it right out.

I can’t decide whether to get another 5mg pen or move up. I’m getting suppression but still being able to eat fine. Weight loss seems to be slower but steadyish. Side effects minimal fortunately. I’ve got another two doses plus the 5th shot of my current pen left.

2 psyllium husk + acidophilus capsules with a big glass of water in the evening means I start every morning with a massive :poop:

I'm getting close to One-derland. I haven't seen a 1 at the beginning of the scales for at least 30 years! I've been over 300lb in the past but I started Mounjaro 51 weeks ago at 289lb, now I'm 208. I won't make 199 for my mounjaro-versary but I should get there very soon. I've stopped drinking and all my skin tags have disappeared; it's been absolutely life changing.

I would like to thank whoever on this thread put me on to glycerin suppositories, and whoever else told me what you have to do to get them in properly 😆 absolute life saver. I’m so reluctant to try anything oral (apart from fibre obvs) as I can’t risk inducing an upset tummy or diarrhea when I don’t have easy access to a toilet at work.

When Mr Beacon asks what I'm doing and I say "just chatting tit on the internet", he doesn't know quite how true that is...
Which reminds me, I have forgotten to eat my medicinal prunes today. I even took a little tupperware of prunes with me when we went away last weekend.
I've more or less hit a stone lost in 6 weeks. There's no way I'd have been able to do that under my own steam with everything else going on in my life right now - the consistency MJ has given me in terms of sticking to my diet every single day and having the energy to train almost every day (cycling and weights) has been unbelievable.

MJ week 7. Height 5ft 1.
Start weight: 92kg - 14.5 stone (BMI 39)
Current weight: 85.6kg - 13.5 stone
Target weight: 59kg (9.25 stone) would scrape me into the top of 'normal' BMI but I don't think it's healthy or achievable for me, so aiming for about 62-65kg (10 stone - BMI of 26-ish)

Been getting cold sweats all day, which isn't very pleasant but I guess means the jab is doing something?! Also found I got pretty full just as I was finishing my dinner - normally could finish up and then go graze half the kitchen so this is a positive sign

Did some calculations and I have 7kg to be overweight, 20kg to be healthy weight according to BMI

Double non-scale victory on my flight today! Flew BA to the US in the summer and was OK with the seat belt but the tray table was a no. Flew Ryanair today who I swear snip their belts extra short and I had a couple of inches to play with!

Just realised I forgot to eat dinner! I defrosted it earlier and the husband and kids have helped themselves whilst I’ve been busy this evening. Getting into bed and realised i haven’t eaten since lunch. Usually I’d be starving and probably shaking from the blood sugar crash. But I feel… nothing!
