I want to show my admiration for Sam Smith. They receive a lot of hate on social media just for being who they are. I love their music. Latch, Promises, Not Here To Make friends all great single. Sam has a soulful voice.

It's also great to see more plus sized and body confident performers un-ashamadley wearing what they like. Beth Ditto did it in the 2000s and now we have Lizzo and Sam doing it.

People criticising Sam's new music video, like the idiot Christine Hamilton, need to realise that it's not made for Cebeebies, it's for adults. I loved that the Twitterati dug up the picture of her in burlesque clothing squatting over a chair to highlight her hypocrisy.

I really think that body confidence needs to be demonstrated, not spoken about. Sam Demonstrates it. The more plus size people we see on our screens and on the radio, the better.

I love Sam Smith. People say what they do is not new, blah blah but they are an artist and they are expressing their very deep personal feelings too and transforming all that into art. I didn’t find it shocking, well, I have been to many places where people have a much less restrained approach to sensuality, so I am kinda used to it. I already have two signed albums, I have been to one of their concerts before and I was there getting my tickets when the sale started for this years tour. But I do miss a bit their romantic melancholy…

I don’t know why everyone gets so pressed about Sam. It’s their body let them wear what they want and identify as what they want. I don’t understand why Sam’s outfit choices effect so many people

To be honest, I don't know how people feel so free to post Hate Speech about Sam and not worry about getting arrested. It happened when people posted about the footballers in the world cup last year.
