So it appears with an average days viewing figures for yesterday’s shock 😮 nanny discussion 😮... it appears no one actually cares contrary to Jonathan’s little speech 😉

Love this title. Totally voting for her this year.

Yes, the point was that they had a nanny there during lockdown, which was against the guidance. And are trying to pretend they didn't. Like saying they don't upload videos and photos of the kids at bath time when they do. Everyone knows they have "childcare" and that it's not the bloody dog. And the sensible amongst us know they need "childcare" because they're not capable of, nor do they want to do it themselves even though that's how they make money. Just shut the duck up with your privilege and acting like 4 kids suddenly landed in your laps one day. You may be sla holy shepherd Jonathan but you're not the virgin Mary.

Ha been waiting for him to start on the Forte Village campaign. Wants to go skinny dipping in the spa pool again while the kids are with the nanny.

Anna's shorts looked really tight at the front, that can't be comfortable!

I think she must have weekends off as that's the only time I see them eat all together too

I wish Anna would just be present when "spending time" with her kids, yes we get it- you vlog your life, but for the love of God STOP staring at yourself in the camera every few seconds.

He said no one can look after 4 kids with no relatives in the same country. But there is 2 of them and they don't have anything else to do except look after kids and film it for profit so I don't feel huge sympathy.

Howcome the kids never mention the nanny ? That must be carefully edited out because as I've said before little children will talk about the person they spend the day with, they will talk about teachers when they come home, they are just bound to use her name now and then.

I think it's been a crappy deception they should have said they have a nanny a very long time ago. In the UK we cannot go and stay in people's homes or go inside people's homes. I can't go and stay with my 90 year old mum I can only see her outside. So unless the nanny has been with them since the lockdown, living there, she shouldn't be in the house at all.

If she has been living there how awful would that be for a young woman. I mean she couldn't have any social life, would have had to stay with them the whole time which wouldn't seem feasible to me. It would be horrible, she'd be trapped there. I wonder if she has broken lockdown rules by only returning recently.

They seem to want a medal for having 4 kids. It's not even environmentally friendly to have 4 kids, they aren't doing anyone a favour. I think the kids are cute, I'm not saying they shouldn't have been born I'm just saying they aren't the martyrs they think they are.

I think they are kind of trolling this forum as others have said so often the content relates to what has been written here.

I just...sometimes....wanna...you know. :mad::mad::mad:

I was a single mom of 4. (Kind of still I am, but I have amazing new husband) Anyway, I was left alone to take care of my kids when they were 8 and almost 18months. Oh and by the way, the youngest ones are triplets! How about that Anna and Jonathan.
Once a week kids dad came to see them 2hours. And then my mom or my godmother came once a week to help me.
Everything else I did all by myself. Because my kids. I choose to have them, so I have to take care of them.

They sometimes make me so angry.

I'm sure that there are plenty of people with four kids managing with no help from relatives. Especially as you couldn't mix with family from outside home during lockdown. I been on my own with three, two adults at home all day with four kids shouldn't be impossible!

Andrea opens the oven and twists the switches on it while Jonathan and Anna are talking. He's in their view while they're talking. Anna actually looks at him. Jonathan points the camera at him. They both giggle but are distracted and having a conversation about Anna's new laptop. Neither of them raise their voice to alert him that's not acceptable behavior. They saying nothing at all. Jonathan eventually escorts him by the arm saying "thank you" to get the oven gloves from his hands...

WHAT THE duck. On another day, when that oven is on and they have their eyes off him, that's a serious injury waiting to happen. Any parent with a brain knows that you use these opportunities to warn your kids about something dangerous and not to go near it again.

I haven’t watched the vlog yet. do they have a gas oven ? He could blow the whole houseup, no ? My God. Between that and the drawer under the sink which isn’t childproof yet full of toxic cleaning products, and and all the rest, they are an accident waiting to happen.

Speaking of accidents : has anyone noticed that since A2’s shocking bruises, there has been no footage of the younger kids propped on the kitchen counter. Funny that.

Jonathan bought Anna a new MacBook Pro. Then he lectured her on learning Final Cut Pro vs. using iMovie. First of all, it's not like his videos are some wondrous creation. Secondly, given that it's Anna, I give it a few months before she decides it's just all to overwhelming, and quits again. Is it really the best use of her time?

Speaking of Anna, what did she do to Andrea? In the past, I've seen a lot of speculation from people claiming he has a host of things wrong with him. Which I don't necessarily agree with. But today I really noticed how disengaged he is with his mother. He doesn't make eye contact with her when she speaks to him. He doesn't smile at her. It's like he is looking through a wall whenever she is around. And it's only with her. When the kids were putting on their shoes, she spoke to him and nothing. Then Alessia started talking to him and he was so engaging. Same way with Jonathan at the end of the vlog. He was being a perfectly normal toddler. He was laughing when she was pushing him on the swing. But it's like he'll only laugh or smile if one of the other kids is doing the same. Almost like he sees them doing it and he knows it's safe. That is so odd to me. I've never ever seen a child have that kind of a reaction to a biological parent. I would love to see what he is like with their nanny. Is it a woman thing or is he confused about who Anna should be to him?

I don't understand how with 2 young children they decided to have microwaves so low and an oven below the hob. Why not have them higher up on eye level so only adults can reach?

Yes they have a gas oven. The microwave and oven need to be moved higher so that only Anna and Jonathan can reach. And child locks on the cupboards, especially the one under the sink. Just so many safety hazards.

The microwaves are integrated. They actually chose to have them this low. Once again, shows how they never think of the children or their safety. Just that they needed 2 of them because Anna can't cook in the evening.

Literally just joined here to vent somewhere people would sympathise. And look, I don't have much ill-feeling toward them, I think they are good people, even if I disagree with some of their words/actions. But I've had to stop watching them since Thursday or Friday for various reasons, and you can all tell me if I'm being petty:

× Not mentioning the nanny while making a big fuss about all the work they have to do. Even with a nanny I don't doubt that parents would be busy with 4 kids, but don't try and hide it, and frankly, don't complain at all when there are single mothers of 6+ children living in flats and cramped council houses. I don't need to hear how you're struggling, we ALL are.

× Also, they CHOSE to have 4 children knowing full well how much work it would be - if they didn't think they could do it without a nanny, they shouldn't have done it at all. Or, alternatively, they could have waited until there was a bigger gap between ages to ease the workload slightly.

× The overwhelming privilege of leaving the hard jobs to the cleaner and then laughing about it. It was a glimpse of an attitude I can't stand. Cleaners are a high-risk group, if you can afford one, you can afford to pay them to stay home.

× (Speaking as a UK teacher) The utter selfishness of sending the kids back to school when there are THREE carers at home. Unnecessarily exposing the children, the family, and the staff to heightened risks of COVID. Teaching unions and scientists have been incredibly vocal about the dangers of sending children back to school so early, there is no way they haven't seen this news, and yet they've decided to go ahead anyway. It just reeks of a decision made to give the parents a break and nothing else.

TL;DR I had to stop watching because of the abundance of unacknowledged privilege.
