I hear she has been chosen to replace a darker skinned presenter (Candice) on a documentary about childbirth.
Aside from all the issues around that, I genuinely do not understand why she has been chosen to present anything.
She did very badly on This morning. She came across wooden and false,
She also flouted lockdown and took her young kids on holiday to Dubai during the pandemic.
There are so many black women that could be chosen yet they chose someone who:
- cannot present
- isn’t relatable
- will not be empathetic towards black women
- is overexposed
- broke lockdown
This astounds me.
