Bought a van and then became an influencer

Thanks @Madamex for setting up the thread. I've only started to follow her so don't know too much about her. But what I've gathered so far and I'm not even sure I have it correct is that she worked in as a Civil Servant left that job, she owns an apartment and rented that out and moved into her dad and stepmam house and she is using the rent money as income when she gets her Insta career going ? Was she in a relationship that broke down, she referenced having an abortion at one time and being distant from family members is that her Mam?
I started following Robyn I think it was around May last year when she had been on Saxenda a couple months and watched all her old videos because she was showing her chin surgery and then Saxenda journey and used to log into the lives. She was just really funny and down to earth type of girl.
You have it right yeah, she was working in the HSE as some sort of manager and she was basically saying she wanted to be more independent and live life a bit, she wanted to travel with her dog and stop the 9-5 slog. I think her decision to go on her career break came rather suddenly to her viewers but everyone was supportive because she was going to travel in her van and didn't make it out like it was about becoming an influencer.
The whole summer went by and there were no van trips and then she said it was actually very expensive so she was putting it on hold. I think she got very comfortable in her dad's house and look that's fine whatever but then January of this year she was going full blown insta hun. She was like these are the numbers I want to hit this is the content I'm planning and it all felt very business like or something. The natural flow of her videos was gone and for me it was a turn off because she was like a corporation trying to hit numbers
Oh about the ex I think she's broken up with him a good few years she didn't mention him much but apparently he bought a house while they were together and he didn't tell her. I think she bought her place then a year or so later.
Not following her very long, she showed up on my fyp one day and I thought it was nice to hear someone talking openly about struggling for content or something along those lines so I followed. I skip a lot of her stuff as it’s not all that interesting, she comes across as a bit lazy. I didn’t realise she gave up a good job to pursue influencing, surely she should have grown her following first? Also if she’s renting out her apartment to fund her lifestyle she can’t be left with very much after mortgage repayments? Seems like she was dead set on becoming an influencer for the sake of it, like a kid saying they want to be a YouTuber when they grow up.
She actually had another tiktok page I think it had 6k followers and it had her whole chin lipo and Saxenda journey and she deleted it for this new page which she is "growing".
But yeah giving up a good job is crazy especially since her content is relatively the same it's not like she is putting in hours for "content" it's just come with me to get red bull, walk the dogs, go to the shop, write out lists, eat food end vlog, like understandable if she did go through with the van lifestyle but yeah like others have said she's a bit lazy and settling into her dad's house like she's one of his other teenage kids
Don't think she has a good relationship with her from watching her.

She doesn't seem to know what she wants. She is on a career break, so why doesn't she travel solo around Europe and document this and make money off this.
She didn't want to leave George so that's why she got the van but then she wasn't arsed with the van
Also another thing that annoys me is she leaves her dogs in the car while they go into the shop for the 100th time that day. So unnecessary especially when they can take turns going in if really they all need to go. Poor dogs
She definitely needs some structure.. no job no routine would drive anyone bananas tbh
I think she needs to get back in contact with her doctor or get a proper job because she's losing the plot now
Totally agree. You'd have to wonder what the point of it all was. Becoming an influencer should be an authentic route, Annalivia actually explained it well on Hold My Drink. She'd never have given up her job before she was making big money on social media and her bloke still works a reg job even though he doesn't need to.
What's all these girls obsessions with getting diagnosed with things and making that their content and entire personalities
