Fairly sure we're being watched here folks, though that's Common knowledge but certain now..interesting that a comment of mine stating that I know the girls personally has been liked twice in the last three days on the old thread... No posts/scores on the accounts... Hmm.... 🙃 I won't give away names incase I get banned but too much of a coincidence
If I was an influencer I'd read here. I wouldn't be able to resist.
In my opinion the critique and discussion here is usually as applicable to the industry in general as it is to the individual in question. Personally I'm frustrated by the growth in the industry and what it tells us about the way society has gone and how commercialism and bandwagonism and disposability and tokenism are just rife, and I see women like the Foxes as symptoms of that whole problem (that came out harsher than I meant but I can't think of a way to rephrase without watering it down too much!), and as such I don't feel there's much said here that crosses the line into personal insult, trolling, any kind of abuse etc.
I genuinely think a lot of influencers could learn something by taking note of what's discussed on these threads rather than being sucked into the echo chamber of Insta.
A lot of them are going to get some land when the bubble bursts - and realistically we have to be in the last 3-5 years of the whole cycle. I find the entire psychology of it abhorrent but with regard to Retro, she's smart to milk it with as many collaborations, collections etc as possible before the cow inevitably runs dry.
If she's very lucky, one of those collabs might stick and bring her into the next stage of her career.

I unfollowed Erika a few months back but she just came up on an ad on my insta flogging Sosueme makeup. What is goinf on here....is this a new thing, had she ditched BPerfect? Seems a bit beneath her aspirational aesthetic 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Agree with all of this. Sure just look at Kaelins post where she said "it's live - go go go!" encouraging people to spend their money and making them feel like they have to buy the collection right this second if they want it. We all know they wouldn't buy most of the stuff they promote but they have no issue getting people who likely have less money than them to buy it.

When I saw this on her stories today I thought straight away Spotlight are using Erika to ‘crack America ‘ only US entrants and they’re big in Ireland with the influencers and they’ve probably ran out of ones to send their products too

they strike me as a company that bought too much stock and are trying to get rid of it before it goes off by sending it to these people for free!!😂

Wondering why a women who has been living in New York years and has been bellowing about supporting Irish business has a swipe up to Nike euro site? Most defiantly aimed solely to her Irish following to gain a few euro

Here's proof that Erika officially doesn't have influence anymore...her Black Friday posts on her blog used to do really well, this year her post has only had 447 views in 2 days.

Compare that to 14834 views for last year and 70,478 views in 2018.

She's such a spoofer.

I didn’t see this, what was the prize? If it included whitening products I wonder is it because they wouldn’t be allowed in the EU due to EU regulations on the max strength allowed vs US.

I had a look at the US website and couldn’t see any mention of exactly what % they are using in their products there.

Stuff from the range an a invisaline treatment

Chupi & the €2k minimum rings!!!
Is there a thread for Chupi? Her personal page has almost 24k followers. She absolutely wrecks my head.

I got a lovely necklace from her range as a birthday present last year. After 4 months a piece of it bent. I had been very careful with it. They did repair it but for the price and what she markets as "future heirlooms" the quality just isnt there.
