I really want to tell matalan how uncomfortable the ad made me.

The other take overs have been more focused on filming the children while they are having fun but Rebecca's take over was scripted, forced and not at all fun for the children.... She admitted herself Alfie was really nervous about it...

He categorically shouldn't have been put in that position for Rebecca's financial gain.... He is 7 years old.

Fair enough film them having fun at a pumpkin patch like Liza but to actively make a child work by speaking rehearsed lines that made him feel nervous was despicable

I was shocked at the time and I'm mad with matalan for going ahead with the advert

The very fact if you look at other influencer posts on Matalan's page who have done the same takeover, none have comments regarding them as people. Only Rebecca's. If that doesn't tell you what you need to know, I don't know what will.

It's also interesting that Beggy post is the only one with the racist comment about the white family. Both she and Steve are toxic.

Oh god I’m cringing....I can’t believe matalan posted her pic after Already receiving emails.
I don’t care what rebecca says from now on about ignoring trolls etc, there is no way it doesn’t piss her off that the like of Liza Prideaux has a photo on the grid just before hers and she’s received positive comments and then her photo gets bombarded with pornhub references
I can only imagine the sulking and stomping going on in the dungeon this morning.

also, there is no way these other ‘mummy vloggers’ aren’t talking about all this behind her back. It’s a car crash.

It looks really bad on Matalan, the comments are identifying issues that are questionable when representing a brand and a family channel, yet they still considered her fit to represent them, or just maybe she was 'cheap'.

I’m exhausted by my actual job and busy life I don’t sit and think oh I’ll wear this/eat this/buy this/do this for instagram - that’s where you are going wrong in your life! Wow, jumping on the bandwagon much with the, “you don’t need to post”. Thanks Bex, I know I don’t need to, but we spent a morning carving pumpkins, and the kids have enjoyed looking at them lit up outside this week. It wasn’t for anyone else’s benefit. Does she ever think (I know, stupid question) that’s she’s alienating the people who have done those things, maybe because of the gram, maybe because they enjoy activities with their kids, and now are feeling a bit tit cos some dick online has basically said they don’t need to try so hard. It’s the typical nasty school girl thing, calling people who work hard and do their homework ‘swots’ and I really hate that type of mentality.
Also, I think the local village is doing a non contact Halloween thing, so if she’s not going to support them, then she can get in the bin!

Yes, that's what made me feel uncomfortable too - it should've been just an incidental "look at my kids enjoying themselves" and the kids should have been oblivious. Instead Rebecca made Alfie learn lines and even said he was really nervous about it - why put your child through that? I'm sure that wasn't the brief from Matalan! Whoever signed off on the and should be ashamed of themselves too.

Oh how relatable she has done duck all with her kids this week and doesn’t feel bad about it . She needs to read the room...so many people will have had to juggle work through this half term (actual jobs not faffing about in Matalan) and are also tackling money problems to save for Christmas, she has blown £400 on a coat while her and Steve aren’t tied down with jobs, so she hasn’t done anything because basically she couldn’t be arsed

I took my children pumpkin picking - didn’t post any pictures on Instagram.
I decorated my house for the local Halloween trail for my kids and other kids to get some enjoyment this Halloween.
we’ve carved pumpkins, baked and decorated spooky cakes, made pumpkin pie, watched Halloween movies, dressed up, face painted, gone on scavenger hunts and collected autumn leaves to use to craft with.

not for the gram, but to entertain my kids, make them happy, keep their little minds active and make memories.

Real parents don’t do things to look good on Instagram, they do it because they want to for their children.

Rebecca needs to get off Instagram because from where I’m standing, those boys are suffering badly!

Well I hope to god she doesn't embarrass herself by trying to use the excuse "they're jealous of me" Liza has slightly more insta followers, and slightly less youtube subscribers but essentially numbers wise they've got a very similar amount of followers (if were counting the bots lol)....So if people are jealous of Beggy why arent they jealous of Liza too? Why aren't the comments on Liza's matalan post similar to Dingles?

I can still see all the comments...TBH more than likely it will be the Matalan social media team who run that account and they probably work mon-fri office hours so they'll be up all weekend at the very least lol
