My oh went to a funeral last week, it was videoed, is that a thing now

It seems it is, recently there was one quite near to where I live , everything was videoed including the mother applying her own make up for the day .

Thought I'd bump this thread as its somewhere for stuff that doesn't fit elsewhere?
Just been out for last cig and put dog out, he wants to play, it's still light, I'm like no, it's late! But isn't it weird how light it is tonight.

I would have them thrown out, I've always believed that cameras an videos have absolutely no place at a funeral, honestly so disrespectful, it annoys me when I see it on the news as well, like have some respect

And lose a minute a day, blimey I shouldn't moan, the last few months have been so wet, tis been nice to have some warm dry weather!!

I think it's a new thing since covid. So people who couldn't come due to limits on attendees or travel restrictions could still take part.

I watched one a few months ago of a relative who lived and died in Wales. I wouldn't have been able to go in person due to work commitments so it was nice to see his send off from home.
