Not a date but I was sucking dick on a rooftop in Berkeley and then he walked me back to where I was staying. I tripped on myself and exclaimed Jesus fucking Christ. He looked at me in horror and said “Don’t use the lord’s name in vain!” Okay bro, what you were enjoying before was Jesus approved and this was not? 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’ve avoided Texan men since then (he was studying at Berkeley but from Texas). Gorgeous gorgeous man but he ruined it for me. 😂

Yes but I think you have to just keep quiet and let people make their own mistakes, unless there’s a safety risk there obviously.

Do you agree with the view that people have to make their own mistakes and learn from it?

My last break up was over 9 years ago. I was only 16 so very young. I felt like the world had ended and I would never be able to find somebody ever again. I took care of myself and focused on me rather than finding someone new. My advice to anybody trying to get over that feeling would be to take care of yourself, focus on you for a little while. Self care is important. Remind yourself of why somebody would be lucky to have YOU. Don't go rushing to find someone new - what's meant to be will be and the person who is meant for you will find you - it might even be when you least expect it.

He made me meet his two 40+ year old housemates and listen to music with them. I mean they were much nicer than him but it was bloody awkward!

I am an uneasy flier at the best of times but my flight during a bad storm was the worst flight experience I've had (thankfully). There was such bad turbulence, all the passengers were gasping and screaming for 50 minutes straight. I was terrified but I'm just glad we didn't plummet into the sea to our very quick deaths.
