Chips & Gravy - Makes them all soggy with a weird texture. The gravy just doesn't compliment them

Pie & Peas - I don't think the taste of peas in any form works with a pie. Mash all the way

Tuna & Sweet corn - The best way to ruin perfectly good tuna is a mix it with sweetcorn. Just no.

Anything + gravy for me. Gravy is revolting, makes everything soggy, all tastes of nothing but gravy and that isn't a nice flavour to me.

I'm stopping my rage at the gravy hate🤣.

Sweet and sour.
Savoury and fruit - eg lamb tagine & apricots, salad with raisins
Tuna and jacket potatoes
Baked beans and jacket potatoes
Anything with custard
Strawberry & chocolate

So-called "sweet corn" in a curry or in anything really. I've even heard of it on pizza but surely that would be the work of a barbarian?

Imo it's just used to cover up food that is not well flavoured/bad quality. You shouldn't need to drench meat/veg in a sauce if they are well seasoned.
I hate caramel, especially in chocolate and don't even get me started on salted caramel

Or on a roast/in chilli 😟 And with peas, pick one.

Fish and chips with curry sauce 🚫 gravy or nothing.

I hate how chain pizza places do sides of potato everything but chips. I get the cooking issues but half cooked potato tots are not it. Bung some crinkle cut in.
