Why not just get him a regular current account with debit card and give him the extra £3 you'd spend on the gohenry card?

I use HyperJar for my 8yo, I think it’s basically the same as go Henry but its free. Saw it recommended on Martin Lewis’ website.
My 8 yo gets £10 a month and does a few little chores like putting clean clothes away and tidying their room

My secondary aged child gets a fiver a week for sweeping the path daily and doing the dusting (whole house needs doing over the course of the week). Can earn more for doing extra jobs.
Since age 11 he has had a "proper" debit card, so all his money goes in there.

I get a discount through my husbands work, so it would be about a quid a month I think but the first 3 months free.
Its just a few of his mates have them and he asked about it.
More wondering how much people give a month really as I'm so unsure what is even a starting figure!

Looking at getting my 10yo a go Henry card, and just wondering if anyone is happy to share how much pocket money they give? Do your children need to do any chores for it?
