This is my kind of shopping. My dad once went out to buy a toaster equipped with a home made toast sized cardboard cutout. It's the dedicaction to perfection that's inspiring.

I am a side sleeper and need the gap between my shoulder and my ear filled, otherwise I can’t get to sleep and get a stiff neck. I always used a dunlopillo and another currently a memory foam. The dunlopillo is getting old and sad but they are now £70! I have tried others but cannot get the right combination. I have seen these 'my pillow' advertised, does anybody know if they are any good?

We have these.

I have found my people. I have a compulsion when it comes to pillows i buy new every month. They need to be soft, bouncy and big. Almost like the ones you see in films where they sink into them in hotels. Unfortunately I've yet to come across any that hold their "bounce" so it's meant buying a pack of 2 silent night ones for £10 from tesco every month.

I'm a side sleeper too and tend to get my pillows at Home Sense, usually Snuggledown and they say side sleeper on them. They have gone up a bit but think my last one was about £25.
Also If it makes any difference My Pillow are owned by a fervent Trump supporter and donator just FYI.

I am a side sleeper too. I am grumpy that it took me until the age of 39 to find the perfect pillow.

You can add/remove filling to suit you. I have swapped our whole family to them and we all love them.

I just wanna say a) I’m one of these people who have about 5 different types of pillow because I’m fussy as hell and b) the Eve hybrid one (not the memory foam) was great for whole of 5 weeks and then went flat in the middle. Had replacements and did the same, so avoid!

I really wish pillows came with a try before you buy. We got the Eve one for that reason but typically after the time elapsed it as a crock of shit

I've got Dorma pillows from Dunelm and they work for me (side sleeper). I do have tension in my neck/shoulders so I wonder if they're not all that supportive? They're very full and comfy though!

Glad I found this thread! I’ve become total neurotic about pillows! I’m allergic to feathers and my synthetic ones go lumpy. I’m quite aggressive with them, I’m a front sleeper so need them quite soft. I noticed John Lewis do Vegan feather ones now, which I’m tempted by but also memory foam shredded ones, are they soft? I’m a bit Princess and the Pea it’ll bug me if they a blobby. I never think of going to Dunelm so might have a look there today.

I use two a memory foam with the dunlopillo under, the dunlopillo has gone flat but at 75 squid I need an alternative, I have tried several others unsuccessfully.

I am a front/side sleeper but I've started getting very painful shoulders from lying on them every night. Does anyone have a recommendation for a pillow to train yourself to sleep on your back? Is this even possible?!

Yes definitely. We got the full bedding set and now its getting into the colder months its amazing as the duvet just sinks in round you. Cosiest sleep I have ever had not good in the mornings when the alarm goes off though
I think the pillow itself is brilliant, I use just it at night, whereas before I would have had 2 pillows which would have been terrible.
