Looking for some advice for any photographer/camera owners on here!

Its my boyfriend's 30th in a couple of months and rather than take him away/risk plans being affected by the pandemic I'm looking to get him a camera as hes shown an interest and loves taking photos/choses his phones based on what the camera is like.

I have no idea where to start as there are so many in the likes of Currys PC World with all sorts of prices.

Was wondering if anyone could suggest any decent ones for beginners/intermediate that are user friendly and allow added accessories? (Nikon, Canon etc)

Thanks!

The Canon eos range is great place to start as is the Sony a6000 (which is a bit more of a modern dslr and the picture quality is fantastic)! The Canon eos is what I have now and other branded accessories are really compatible, I can buy cheaper lenses if needed and they fit (tameron etc). I find the Canon system really easy to navigate too. However the Sony is going to be my next purchase 😊

Hey! Thank you so much for your recommendation, I’ve decided to go with a Canon eos 4000d!
