A couple of years back he started hinting on FB that he couldn’t pay his bills .

Predictably , before long , somebody suggested a Go Fund Me , which he started for himself after a minor “ oh I couldn’t possibly”

Donations flooded in . Mostly ageing fans eager to catch his attention . Many starting with “ I can’t afford much but ….”

He never acknowledged a single one , except one for 1p which he put on a full blown rant about .

Not a thank you , nothing.

Over on Twitter at the same time he was bragging about the fact he’d just sold a house for 300k , so he’d treated himself to a new car & some Tiffany Jewellry.

I’ve absolutely loathed him ever since.

He was a pretty young man and I think he’s never accepted that his looks have changed. He had a modicum of talent but nothing special, nothing that could be turned into a lucrative career in music. That, combined with arrogance and greed, have rendered him the obnoxious, entitled individual he is today. Still bitter, still thinking the world owes him a living, and not one shred of dignity left. A fitting reminder that we should be nice to everyone on the way up, because they might be willing to offer help on our way down.

His insta and fb got taken down for a while I think. He’s still all over Twitter bitching and whining (mostly about George ofc) as usual though.

He’s worse than Chesney Hawkes for continually pushing his one hit. Although Ches is immensely likeable and Marilyn isn’t.

He is definitely an entitled insufferable twat, who is living in the past, and pretending his short lived pop career was so much better than it was. I think Boy George has been kinder to him than most, but the last I heard, Marilyn was whining about not being employed as a support act for Culture Club. He had one hit FFS. He was a pretty young thing back in the day, but now he's a washed up ex-addict (who keeps relapsing every time he gets some money) and is just yer average middle aged man without a job.

Somebody pointed out to him the various methods of public transport available … plus the fact that transport can be arranged via the hospital In Serious cases & he completely lost his shit with them.
I wonder if he’s still begging signs on or claims ESA?
I’d love to be a fly on the wall at his Jobcentre appointments

I occasionally look at his Twitter as he’s a complete mess, and it’s quite a weird place, kinda fascinates me as he’s so odd, he’s always moaning and fighting with people online, had a big bust up with George again recently. that led to George flouncing off Twitter for good, saying he was done with Twitter.

George wrote this in February, after another online fight they had about trans issues. So his Mum did win the lottery but he blew it, and he now lives in a council flat. He’s currently saying he lives on a tub of ice cream a day as he has no money, and he‘s always sick, think his lifetime of drug use has caused a lot of his problems. His Mum was his only real friend, and a constant in his life, he is totally lost after losing her, his grief is deep. I do feel for him about that, but he really doesn’t help himself at all, George has tried to help him numerous times, but I do believe the drugs have fried his brain sadly.

It wasn’t that long ago his Mum passed away , I’d be surprise if an inheritance had been sorted & blown in that time.

He’s had loads of offers of help & legs up but he abuses people’s good natures constantly.

One minute he was going to be doing Cameos & stopped immediately ( I suspect he was just keeping the money and not doing them & therefore got kicked off the platform) then he was going to sell mugs & T shirts with his face on ( ) and he even started advertising them - for ridiculous prices- the orders started coming In & he said he hadn’t got money for start up costs , hinting that someone might help him out.

Then he was asking for a ghostwriter for his book . That never got mentioned again .

Last week somebody suggested he should join an 80s revival tour when he was moaning about not having any money & he said “ they can’t pay me what I’m worth”

Again , I think his previous behaviour has negated him from ever being asked .

He doesn’t even get the low level talking head shows that every fading star & his dog can get on.

His poor mum probably gave him her winnings thinking he’d be settled for the rest of his life, not realising he was a complete idiot.

He was driving around filming using his mobile phone aswell a couple of years ago & posting it online.

He was COMPLETELY off his face whilst he was doing it , lots of ppl reported him to the police.

THEN said his car had been attacked with baseball bats & it was never mentioned again.

I think George has been kind to him , but it’s never been appreciated nor acknowledged ; he’s even paid for rehab for him in the past.

I think Marilyn thinks it should always have been him who was the huge star …and that rankles .

I often wonder if he’s still begging for money using other platforms .

He was very active on Insta but I haven’t seen any posts for a while , which usually means he’s deep in addiction again .

Yeah I think he’s relapsed again.

He seems to be a deeply unpleasant character, who really doesn't deserve the attention he receives.

Genuinely horrible - I can remember multitudinous stories about him back in the day .

I mean , how awful do you have to be to have not ONE friend ?

Especially having been a minor celeb for a period of time.
That takes some doing !!!

I followed him on x but his account has now been suspended. I used to feel quite sorry for him as he seemed to have mental health issues but then I started to notice extreme entitlement in him and most of his problems seemed self inflicted. It got a rather tiring watching him go from one drama to another where a lot of his stories didn't quite add up. I don't think he ever recovered from his mediocre and short lived fame. He lives too much in the past and had a strange relationship with his mother. I noticed he doesn't seem to be able to forge long term friendships. It's a shame.

He was a caretaker of my friends block of council flats in Boreham Wood, prior to becoming 'famous'. Can you imagine that ? He was lazy and workshy, so nothings changed.

I remember him boasting on YouTube that he had won the lottery! I mean how do you win the lottery and end up in a council house?! Then his mum died and he was really angry that the council were moving him to a small flat.

I wish I’d kept all the begging for money for utility bills stuff from FB , it went on for weeks until he desperately set up his own GFM .

Comments were in the thousands, as were donations .
He never acknowledged a single one , nor thanked anybody.

The tide started to gradually turn & folk were screenshotting his own bragging from Twitter - the showing off about his new car & 3k worth of gold jewellry he’d treated himself to was posted WHILE he was begging for money via FB - which was utterly shocking .

The whole thing was still there to see on FB for a couple of months until he removed it .

I think it was yet another way for Peter to beg his followers for money. He’s always broke and asking for handouts.
