Pervy Wedding Photographer- WWYD?

I was out at a restaurant for lunch and I could overhear two wedding photographers chatting to a potential client on the next nearest table, she was youngish looked 20 at the very most and these two guys looked in their 50s. She left the meeting and I didn’t think much of it until the two guys started having the most disgusting, lecherous conversation about her. I’m not just talking a couple of comments, they were having a full blown conversation about what they would do to her and it went on for ages. I’m no prude usually but it made me so angry. Anyway they got up and left, and I noticed from my window seat that they got into a car with the guy’s name and photography business details on. I am tempted to leave an anonymous review saying what a lech he is. Would you?
By the way- I wasn’t prepared to confront them face to face because I was on my own and trying to work, didn’t want a slanging match with their saliva flying all over me.

Maybe a private message saying you heard every word etc - how it was disgusting & not appropriate - see what he has to say, if he is mortified leave it at that as a warning to him, if he comes back arsey & all entitled.. then I'd maybe hang him on it !

I would do exactly that! Hopefully the lady they were discussing will see it and cancel her booking. What’s wrong with some people?!?

Disgusting. I don't think a private message will stop his behaviour, plus he can ignore that and move on. A review on his company will surely make him reflect on his awful attitude because its not only an awful look for him, but his company. I would absolutely put him on blast.

Yes agreed he is a absolute scumbag and it is unacceptable, and no I don't expect he will change the behaviour of a lifetime, but you don't know enough about him to ruin his business which that could do, maybe he has family dependant on his income and if he is out of work - they will be the ones that suffer ..

I thought about sending a private message but I was that disgusted about the things he was saying I honestly wouldn’t trust an apology to be genuine. I think I will have to leave a review - I just wanted to check that I’m not being a psycho by doing this!
It really was vile, the way they described her was total fetishisation of her as a young-looking woman and didn’t seem to care that another lone female (myself) was in earshot. Nasty creeps. I hope the woman reads it and runs a mile.

This guy sounds disgusting!! I’m sure there are many more professional guys out there that this lady could use. If it’s her special day for a wedding then why would anyone want someone so lecherous on a day that will be so special to her?! Being there when shes getting ready and all the private and intimate moments?! You want someone there who is respectful. Makes me so mad when men think they can talk like that about women.

I've also seen Brides-to-be going to a photographer to take some naked photos as a sexy honeymoon gift for their husband. The same photographer has then posted the photos (and bragged about it) on a porno site. Makes you wonder about the mentality of the photographers - what happens if the husband came across the photos online and subsequently kicks the bejeesus out of the photographer or ruins their business. Seems a hell of a risk for a cheap thrill (and massive betrayal of the brides privacy).
I've seen this about a dozen times on at least one website.

This reminds me of a few months ago when I heard next doors window cleaners saying really gross things about a woman they were on a night out with or something, it was echoeing down the street and was really disgusting to listen to. Wish I’d thought to leave a review or something now but too late now.

Leave a review, even if he deletes it there’s a chance someone (including the woman in your op) could see it beforehand and maybe it will give him a shock that a) someone overheard and b) now his reputation could be damaged as a result, at the very least if he wants to save his rep he will keep his vile thoughts to himself in future, nobody needs to overhear that tit. Maybe post in the middle of the night when he’s likely asleep so it’s up for a few hours before he sees it.

Id also remember the name of the company and tell people to avoid it and why if the discussion ever comes up. Yes he may have a family to feed, but maybe he should have thought about that before degrading one of his female clients so openly. Word of mouth is still a powerful tool that a lot of businesses rely on.

There’s plenty of hard working photographers out there who treat their clients with respect and would be more deserving of this woman’s custom.
