I think I’ve messed up ...
So, I need a PCR test to fly on Sunday, my flight lands at 8:25pm but I took my test at 8pm last night ... the certificate has today’s date on it but the time as taken as yesterday! It means technically I’m 25 mins short of the 72hr window!!! Do you think this matters?

I feel so stupid, I was working off the departure time and not the arrival time!

I used to work for a private covid testing company and this happens all the time!! I’ve had calls from major airlines quibbling over this and know how stressful it is for both sides.

You’ll unfortunately need to check with your airline & country of travel - sometimes the certificate needs to be dated within 72 hours (and not the swab) but sometimes, it’s both!

hope it works out ❤

Thank you! I feel so stupid ... the time on the form would only let you put hours so I just put 8pm thinking oh that will be fine! I’m currently googling if it’s 72hrs before you get on the plane or when you land 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
