Owning Manhattan - Netflix

Anyone else watched it? I have been a fan of Ryan Serhant since the decade he spent on Million Dollar Listing New York. I am glad to see him back to watch on something and binged watched all eight episodes since it came out last Friday. It's more realistic and less soap opera than the other property shows around. He's got some good people working for him and the properties as you'd expect being in New York are amazing.

Ive watched one episode.
I watch for the properties but was a bit concerned future episodes were going to be made up dramas concerning people i have no interest in. So i might continue with it now.

I’ve just started watching, the properties are unbelievable. Making me want to go back to NYC!!
I can’t remember anyone’s name but the guy with all the tattoos - his pink jumper and white trouser combo on episode 4….Christ alive.

Also been a big fan of Ryan since MDLNY.
I was worried when this Netflix show was announced but pleased to see property involved. I still prefer MDLNY, the agents hired for the show and the drama isn’t for me but thankfully nothing like Selling Sunset.

I have never heard of him before today (crappy weather = binge watching Sunday) and he's great. Such a likeable character - might even have a little crush

He's a bit of a man crush for me. Go watch him in Million Dollar Listings New York. You can see how he started out as the bad guy character but then Emilia came in to his life and he was a changed man.

There's def something about him, isn't there!?

Thank you I will - almost at the end of Owning Manhattan and would probably have had withdrawal symptoms so now I can set up a tapering system ...

Yes definitely recommend watching MDLNY! We recently started a rewatch and it’s funny seeing how he was all those years ago but he really changes over the years.

I looked for it last night but can't find it for free on Netflix or Prime. Any suggestions as to where I might find it?

Thank you so much! I have no idea what sorcery this is but I bloody love how kind people on Tattle are. :) 🙌
Should find other shows on there you want to see. Be interesting your running commentary where first few seasons you think he's a bit of a knob who needs knocking down a peg or two, to someone who really changes.

EDIT:

The link I sent is missing some of the seasons. Every season can be seen here.....

The second link has a lot of pop ups so use the first link apart from the seasons it doesn't have. Looking at the date order you have to watch seasons 1-5 and then go to where it says season 0 to watch the four parter on his wedding to Emilia and then back to seasons 6-9.

I want to watch this but I know I'll get depressed about not being able to buy a flat in Manhattan, which is my dream.

My life is good otherwise.

I only managed to watch episodes 1-3 of season 1 yesterday and whilst he's clearly younger I haven't found him too obnoxious - yet! 😜 I can still see the element of his character that appeals to me so that is obviously a very natural trait. With that said, I can totally see how he could go on to display more nob-like tendencies as the episodes /seasons progress and he gets into the swing of being a real-estate-come-reality-tv-star-baller

I started Owning Manhattan on Saturday, up to episode 4 now! Haven't seen MDLNY (yet!)

Really enjoying seeing all the NY real estate. Some of the drama is unnecessary/manufactured, but not intolerable.

The properties were nice but all the agents were incredibly dull. The tattoo guy almost seemed like an actor put in there for some very forced drama.
