Can’t believe there’s not a thread for this fabulous show!

Anyone else just watched the first episode of series 4 and wondering how they’re going to wait a week for the next instalment? 😬

This is my absolute favourite! It’s getting better in my opinion. The relationship between them is so funny.

Love this show.
Martin Short steals every single episode. But the dynamic between the three leads gets better and better.

I agree about it getting better - I thought last night’s was one of the best episodes yet. I love how they’re developing the characters: Mabel’s sadness when she glimpsed herself & her life through a ‘Hollywood’ lens was so well executed.

This is a nice write-up:

Absolutely love this show! Have loved Steve Martin since parenthood! I grew up watching him in cheaper by the dozen and the pink panther. Just love their chemistry and love season 4 so far 🥰 can’t believe I’ve gotta wait a week! Although I like it at the same time so I can’t binge watch them all in 1 day, it’s nice to have something to look forward to.

I love it. I love the three main characters so much. I have a bad back and was trying not to laugh but just couldn't help it - the scene where Charles tries to push the paper across the table, and it ends up with Oliver hanging onto his legs? Steve Martin is so good at that physical comedy. :D

One of the best lines….. in S2 when the Detective complains about the number of calls they’re receiving from the public… ‘I’ve got more anonymous tips than a Penn St station glory hole.’ :ROFLMAO:

The ongoing bit at the end of season one, when he’s been drugged, is one of my favourite TV moments ever.

Though his finest moment in the entire show was definitely ‘The Pickwick Triplets’ 🤩

I absolutely adore this show. Season 3 was superb and showcased what talents the three main leads are. The Pickwick Triplets song is unbelievable. Howard is fabulous.

I feel they really hit their stride in S3 and it was only a matter of time before Eugene Levy appeared. 🤣

I loved all the ‘west tower: them vs us/wrong side of the building’ stuff 😁

Though wouldn’t Jan have been a Westie too? I’m pretty sure she lived directly opposite Charles. I’ve also got a feeling that Mabel will become a Westie by the end of the season (and where is she living just now? I’ve lost track)

This is really the best show I've watched in years. I love the leads, the way they compliment each other, the plots, the cameos, the show length, the mixed ages, the location, the fact it's sharp but doesn't take itself too seriously...... I'm a super fan and I haven't even started S4 yet.

I don't know where Mabel is living, is she staying with Oliver ?

It's just been renewed for a fifth season!



I'm trying to keep all season 4 episodes to binge. It's really difficult though as I was a late starter to it and managed to watch all of 1 to 3 consecutively and now I'm a bit lost 😅
