Got an email from Spotify saying cos I'm apparently one of Zayns top fans I can pre order some merch, £40 for a t-shirt I mean it's nice and I probably would've got it if it was half that. Maybe I'm just old but is that how much merch is going for these days?!

I think it’s nice Louis went to watch Zayn and it obviously meant a lot to Zayn he was there. Yes maybe Louis wouldn’t have gone if Liam hadn’t died but maybe his death has brought them back together / on speaking terms

Everything seems to be a competition. Can't they just be happy and let things be.

I do think some of the fans could do with talking to someone, the level of hate and competition they enforce when they don't know these people.

Also, I read the Larries got into a load of drama because some say they broke up last year, a pairing that they've entirely made up a marriage about. This isn't normal and is even weirder 10years after the group broke up.

I think all those lads can't do right for doing wrong and the fans or whatever you'd call them are bullies.

Even the taking picture of harry and gettonga ll sad and depressed as he was eating by himself, which is his choice.

The Larry stuff is absolutely nuts and it's beyond unhinged, especially on reddit. I can't get my head round that there are adults who deadarse believe Harry and Louis have been secretly married and that Freddie is fake or isn't actually Louis' child. It's just so bleeping bizarre that they're imposing gay/bisexual identities onto these guys who have never even implied they're romantically and sexually attracted to other men. And even if they were, we know from what Liam said that after breaking up none of them really kept in contact or talked much except Liam and Louis.

Agreed. Some fans just feel they are entitled to impose on their private lives. I can’t begin to imagine the frustration the boys feel.

I feel like someone needs to do a study on the original 1D merch and the current merch alongside inflation
I was too old to have one but I can remember my sister absolutely begging for one of the original 1D hoodies

Especially with social media it just seems the lines are all crossed, mixed up, between being a fan of say Louis the person and Louis and his music (I've used Louis but I'd argue it'd apply to Zayn, Harry and Liam too, Niall however has seemed to fare the best as usual )

TBF, Harry has implied he's not entirely straight. Although that's only been since 1D split. How they concocted a marriage for the decade prior to that, I have no idea. And the way they keep going on when they know how much Louis hates it is insane.
