Not sure if anyone is keen for this thread but I thought I’d start one for those of us who need our daily brain training!
Obviously potential for spoilers so read with caution and use spoilers where necessary
What’s your favourite? I’m a Connections gal. Either play it with my boyfriend or my form group in the morning if we forgot 🤣

I got the app when in the sale, as fell in love with crosswords. I do like connections, get really frustrated when I get them wrong :ROFLMAO: I do love the crossword and tiles!

I love the crossword! But I would say I’m definitely not currently able to complete past a Wednesday level

Ooh, me! I love Only Connect so really enjoy the Connections game. I'm not great at Wordle but still have a go.

My favourite game on there previously was a kind of dot-to-dot game but I don't think it's on there anymore. Does anyone else remember it?

Some of the connections categories are maddening sometimes but I love it 😂

I love Letter Boxed. Love it.

Also quite like Strands. Connections is absolutely mental sometimes - like they’ve got the work experience to have a go. There’s no consistency which annoys me.

That game is still on the app version of NYT for sure! Letter Boxd?

Thank you! I quite enjoy Letter Boxed. I've just searched online and the game I was thinking of was called Vertex; it was kind of like a paint by numbers where you had to join the dots in the right place to create an image.

It looks like they stopped publishing it at the end of August last year. ☹

oh buggar yes I know exactly what you mean now. I did notice that it was really repetitive when I played it in summer, like I could replay the same but there wasn’t new ones. That’s a shame! It was a nice variation from all the word games.

I’ve just started paying to get the big crossword but I’m confused and I don’t know if it’s some crossword lore I’m not au fait with

the lead actress from the lovely bones and the bourne legacy- I knew the answer but it wouldn’t fit and then I had to use auto check as I was so confused and now I don’t know what’s going on?! But I know sometimes crosswords have all kinds of hidden things and I’m a newbie so I don’t know if it’s that?

Love connections as big Only Connect fan, was super annoyed at ‘extra virgin olive oil’ earlier in the week (not seriously, it’s not that deep) but that’s a decoy list lol
