This thread is more for me than anything else but I waste sooo much money on takeaways and I want to go as long as possible without ordering one. It’s the one thing I waste money on and I want to save up more and more for my future home 🥲🥲🥲

Anyone fancy joining in? Even if it’s limiting yourself to x times a week or x times a month. Or maybe people can share tips on how to avoid wasting money on takeaways

I'm definitely joining in! My husband and I have just looked through our finances today and I am actually embarassed that we worked out we have spent £230 on takeaway since 28th April. Honestly I am so annoyed with us. We have been saving up to move and also to go on holiday and that money could have been used in so many better ways😑:mad: I also want to lose some weight too and I know this is definitely a good place to start

We have way to many takeaways, and always try to cut down but we are lazy when it comes to cooking on a weekend. We are getting to the point where we will order it then only eat half as we don't actually want it, it's more habit.

We have started to make our own fake aways so when we want a takeaway we decide which one we would have and then make our own version we still order now and again but nowhere near as often my fave so far is homemade pizza using naan breads for the base homemade sauce and whatever toppings at the moment I'm loving veggie chicken sweetcorn and mushrooms

I'm away most weekends so do eat out. But it's rare for me to order something for when at home.

I’ll join! We usually have one once a week but I’m trying to eat healthier and cut down so this challenge is perfect 🙂
