I agree about the corona.I tried the Kylie prosecco, it was ok but a bit too sweet for me. Too much like Schloer really. The 0% Corona's are nice with a lime wedge, I can't tell the difference to that and the alcoholic version
The OH doesn’t drink either (but isn’t as sensitive as me so can cope with the 0.5% ones). She loves Lucky Saint and Ghost Ship. She also really likes the Guinness. We were out a few months ago and only one person (other than her) could tell the difference between the AF Guinness and the normal one that the others were drinking.I don’t like any of the wines or prosecco-a-likes I’ve tried and don’t see the point really.
But low or no lager/beers are great now, and pre sobriety I was a very enthusiastic pint drinker.
My current top five are:
- Ghost Ship 0.5% nice and complex and ‘chewy’ flavour
- Anything by Big Drop, esp the Citra. Went through a phase of buying big mixed boxes of their lagers online.
- Lucky Saint 0.5% Hazy IPA
- Beavertown Lazercrush 0.3%
- Brooklyn Special Effects
Small Beer low alcohol IPA is nice too.
