In the 2026 Clacton by-election:

  • Electorate: 79,785
  • Farage's votes: 22,239
  • Farage's votes as % of the whole electorate: 27.87%
  • Turnout: 44.4%
So Farage received the vote of only about 27.9% of everyone eligible to vote in Clacton, despite getting about 63.3% of votes actually cast.

In other words, roughly 28 out of every 100 eligible voters voted for Farage.
