I’m curious too - I’m guessing much older and clearly fairly weathly. I do really like him though, I find him very calming and quite funny/self-deprecating.
Each of his boyfriends have been well off and older. I find him very artificial and he wants to live the good life with all the best of everything without ever having a job, except now vlogging. I follow him occasionally because he lives nearby and I can read what he is up to. His friend Nathan seems to be a very kind, generous friend who shares his work perks with Nicolas.
Just watched his video with Mr Carrington. Never heard of him before. He seems nice but somethings off about him. Very botoxed and that accent isn't real eh? Lovely home so I'll probably watch more but do spill the tea if there is any. Mr C was on his best behaviour and still seemed more natural.
I really think he’s on ozempic.
I love Nicholas! He is pretty open about having a YouTube persona. He has posted Q&As over the years explaining his background and his telephone/youtube voice. I’m sure I remember seeing a pic of the boyfriend he moved to Scotland with and he was older. I’m not sure why I think this but I’m sure the last boyfriend who lived in Doha wasn’t much older than him.. I think I caught a glimpse of a photo of him in one of his videos. He’s been losing weight for years and years, no doctor would prescribe him ozempic and I don’t think he’d be rogue enough to get it online from somewhere potentially unsafe. He’s also spoken about Botox being the only really effective anti aging thing he has tried which I find really refreshing!
Also enjoy his channel, Nicholas seems like a really kind person. When there's time I'll catch up with some of his content. The bonus imo is his super precious Sophie. She's the star of his vlogs.
Last night's video was ridiculous.....telling viewers how content he is. He is the least content Youtuber currently on our scenes. When he recently bought a Cartier watch, he said he doesn't have any jewellery but he wears a Cartier bangle all the time! He constantly wants to move house to every place he visits, then says he is content. He buys designer items (YSL, LV etc) at drop of a hat spends endlessly on laundry,tailor,subscript for Gleneagles Townhouse etc,etc so he must be raking money in. Lucky for him, Nathan can take him along on all his professional assignments to posh hotels. Nathan has a boyfriend who doesn't seem to mind that he shares double beds with Nicholas (Ugh). Content with life-NO.
Well I had a peek to see if there was a thread on Nicholas and here it is. Not very active so maybe that's a good thing. I hadn't heard of him until the Mr C collab, I quite like his vlogs as others have said they are quite relaxing to watch, he has a beautiful home, nice style but his early life fascinates me. The accent is non descript but perfectly fake. There's something sad about him, I mean in empty. He seems a nice guy though.
I'd have loved if Mr C did a collab with him in that hotel pods in Edinburgh, Mr C freaked out, Nicolas would have melted, bless him.

I came across his vlogs during lockdown and couldn’t believe he was showing the viewers how to make sandwiches for afternoon tea. I feel like his followers are mainly American Downton/Crown fans and middle class candle hoarders (the opposite of me basically). I just watch for the comedy value
I like Nicolas, find some of his vlogs quite enjoyable, interiors of various places he stays at, and adore little Sophie. I can live without the afternoon tea/sandwiches.
I used to like Nicolas Fairford but now find him unbearably pretentious. I just chanced upon his 30 days of elegance videos on IG and I am shocked at what he’s morphed into. I have no words. Here’s a still of him in a fake Chanel Jacket …. So sad!

He's pretty horrific. The shiny skin, the weird mouth. I peep at his videos but he's very pretentious.
For those of you who enjoy Nicolas, he mentioned Sophie died yesterday. I loved watching her, she was a spunky little character with so much personality. He was a great doggie daddy, I know his heart is shattered. Losing your dog or animal of any kind (who was your family), the loss is indescribable. The pain & grief is crippling & paralysing for many (myself included). Sending him love & healing.

It is indeed sad that his dog has died — he clearly loved her very much, and she had a wonderful life with him. As a dog owner myself, I know that pain firsthand; it's heartbreaking.
That said, I watched his most recent vlog with interest. This isn't a criticism — each to their own — but Nicolas seems to be exploring a different side of himself. He mentioned buying clothes on Vinted in a size 8, kept what looked like a ladies' jacket from M&S, and picked up a ladies' handbag from Strathberry. His voice also seems to have softened recently. Perhaps he is simply growing into the person he always felt he should be, and if so, I wish him well with that journey. Has anyone else noticed this, or has he spoken about it openly somewhere?

He is always moaning, wanting to move house constantly to a new city, never happy where he is, constantly changing his appearance. Revealed on his insta that he’s a smoker which shocked a lot of his fans!
