Do you have a nickname, and do you know why it was given to you?
Mine is Tilly (my username) given to me by my parents for what reason I’ve no idea as it’s nothing like my real name

My whole life everyone just shortens my name to my initial, B

when people say my full name it’s very strange

My mum calls me Ninja (with a long jaaaaa). Partly cos I was an absolute stealth troublemaker when I was little and also because it’s a play on my name and the word “ja” (จ๋า) in Thai - a cute/friendly informal word (basically another word
for “yes”). Difficult to explain but it makes sense in Thai, promise.

An ex boyfriend and strangely enough, my brother's ex girlfriend used to both call me by a shortened version of my first name. (They didn't know each other so it wasn't a case of one of them hearing it and picking up on it)

No one else has ever called me anything.

My Brother calls me "Smeggy" as in Smeghead (Red Dwarf) and I don't even remember him ever calling me by my real name.
