I like pretty much all his shows and annoyed that BBC stopped with Who Dares Wins as I liked that quiz. I do however find it amusing his much younger girlfriend has a surname that starts with DAD.

He’s such a creep, I always say he’s the creepiest man I have ever seen on TV. One of his many young exes accused him of battering her, funny he never got cancelled after that 🤔

I'm in two minds about him. He comes across on television, as an annoying twit. But he recently criticised a local council, because of the excesdive road works that are currently taking place. He has gone up in my estimation because of that.
Mind you, he will probably revert to type, and start behaving like a twit again!

What's wrong with a Dad bod?

I know he has mentioned in the past that he ballooned to over 18-stone during lockdown, but he isn't reaching The Whale proportions and, for a big bloke who used to be active playing rugby etc he doesn't look too bad.

Saying that, he's still a knob.

DH worked on a DIY SOS many years ago. i met him a couple of times when I visited as well. He was a lovely guy, made sure he spoke to everyone who wanted to meet him. DH commented about how he must get sick of being pestered for selfies all the time. His response was I could, but then I remind myself these are the people who watch the show and keep us all in a job.

At the end they had a wrap party and DH noticed he made sure to speak to every single person who had been involved. I can see how he comes across as cheesy, but he was nothing but genuine from our experience.

A couple of my sister's friends met him when he did a DIY SOS for a Children In Need Special a few years back. They all said he was really nice and great with the kids. They went back in 2019 because the show had a special about everything that had been done over the years and he was the same then.
