So we finally got a new mattress after bf had the previous one for wayyy longer than he should have, and it’s great, but since we got it I keep getting a stiff neck and today I have a real trigger point just where my neck meets my head, if I press it it’s really tender and I can feel pain in my temple and jaw ☹

Is it normal to have aches and pains with a new mattress? We are turning it regularly as per the instructions.

Hmm my pillow isn’t new anymore, probs had it for like 3 years? But it was a proper one with proper support, do you think maybe it’s time to change my pillow too?
Maybe the new mattress has changed the height of your pillows and you either need to change or maybe your neck will adjust, did it feel 'right' the first time you slept with the new mattress or odd?

Hmm no it felt okay, obvs felt a bit different because it was actually supporting me for once haha but didn’t feel unpleasant or too hard/soft

I’ve bought a new mattress, a Simba. I’ve had it a week and I’m slowly getting used to it. They say it takes 30 days to adjust to a new mattress.

I would say get some be supportive pillows and see if that helps.
