There's not enough room for another one and I think it would get a bit confusing having two loves.

So best off as either one or the other I think

I agree with the point on the link posted above by admin, that a reaction to a sad post, of a smilie with heart eyes, may not be appropriate, so a simple heart is possibly more suitable for more posts.

I prefer the single heart, as in mums chat. As stated above sometimes a smile doesn’t go with a heart.

I would like to have a reaction, because it can be used when you want to show "I love what you said" (I won the lottery... Father of daugthers is a twat....) but it can also be used to send the user some love/strength when they mentioned something like "I broke up with my boyfriend"... Reacting with or seems a bit inappropriate. And is super depressing.

Sometimes I use the love one to express sympathy, it looks a little weird to have something grin maniacally at the recipient. In those cases, I'd prefer a heart

Is anyone else finding you can’t press once for like and hold for options? They come up every time now and it’s not as quick to just ‘like’ something

No mine is still one press for like but more often then not I get a error alert, has anyone got this?

Yes... finding this a bit annoying. Can we have it back to just holding it down for the options and just a simple one step click to like something? I spend more time liking things than I do writing and I preferred the ease of just clicking once to quickly like/interact with something.

Have you installed an update or something recently?

The functionality hasn't been changed at all, just an image. It's usually a browser / device issue that we can't control when there's problems with the like button.

I am on safari and using my iPad. The change only happened when the heart was changed, but was due an update on my device and installed it

I'm pretty confident it's the update, not the image change. Apple are always breaking this, can you try downloading chrome and see if it happens? What was the update you applied? Will probably be fixed in a few weeks.
