Why oh why did I book a newborn photo shoot that happens in my house 🤯 not only do I need to make myself look not like a sleep deprived still pregnant zombie, but keep a toddler and a baby presentable, and tidy up several rooms as requested in the pre-shoot instructions 🤦🏼‍♀️

You’re a brave woman. I’m sure it’ll turn out very cute.

Health visitor coming today, I’m so interested to see what my tiny 2lb 9 baba now weighs eek!

Fingers crossed! She's grown so much already!

How is it that a baby will always find and pull that one loose strand of hair 😅

She’s definitely got the rolls of fat on the go 😄

With regards to the hair…yes always! Ouch!

Hey gang sorry I missed the thread closure but she is on kendamil I don’t know if this is too rich for her but last night was horrendous I am basically now sleeping from 11-2 every night and that’s it I am back to the newborn no sleep deprived stage I keep crying I’ve pulled out loads of my eyelashes and me and me annoyed are not getting on because I am essentially so grumpy so I don’t have any e every left for fun me. Has anyone else had this with kendamil? She makes screeching noises I’ve given her aptamil this morning she guzzled it down burped and gone back to sleep because she is the one who is uncomfortable so I feel awful for even saying I’m tired x

I almost booked one of these - let us know how it goes!

Does this look like cradle cap? It started with just dry, flaky skin so I put coconut oil on it yesterday and this morning it’s kinda scabbed over. It’s only on her brows though - they were quite red last night and I have to admit I did find it a bit funny looking at her crazy red brows 😬

Nooo you’re not useless! My baby was an absolute pain to wind (except for my MIL - the minute I passed her over she’d do a huge burp 🙄). I found walking around with her in a sling and going up and down stairs after a feed helped. Also for wind, popping her in the bath and massaging her belly and pouring warm water over her 🤷🏼‍♀️

You might have already tried this so I’m sorry if this sounds patronising but when I’m struggling with baby o I sit her dead upright and hold her chin, then with the other hand I rub slowly from bum to neck and do it firmly enough to straighten her spine out. I just go in the one direction and usually I find I get one decent one out of her if nothing else works.

Honestly I’d go back to your gp and ask for a trial of dairy free formula

Thank you, I’m just at my wits end with it all now. She really isn’t helping me to help her ☹

does anyones little one have curly hair? When did it start to look curly? My girls hair looks slightly curly when it’s wet. I’m just intrigued as my husband and his parents have curly hair but mine is poker straight. (I’ve always wanted curls)

My HV said try cartons of aptimil when she’s struggling. I think it’s gentler on their tummies. Dont feel awful for saying you’re tired. It’s ok to be tired. You are tired and that’s a fact. Go back to the gp they must be able to do something for her, and for you if you’re struggling.
I know how you feel, I feel I have had every ounce of fun sucked out of me and Im just existing some days. ❤

I really struggle to burp t2. Sometimes jiggling her about on my knee brings up a burp, not all the time but may be worth a try?

I have tried that though I’m always a bit cautious because of her reflux she’s going to projectile 😂😂😂

So sorry to hear how rubbish things are at the moment for you all 😔

My baby’s scalp looks a bit like that.

It’s frustrating for you both isn’t it 🥺 I’m seeing the health visitor today and I’m going to ask her about burping tips so if I learn anything good I’ll report back!

I missed this post but my babies skin looks a bit like that on her forehead and she has a dry scalp. I’ve been using e45 on her face and dentinox cradle cap shampoo with a special brush on her head. Seems to be working
