It was absolute tripe. Such a shame because I love Josh Hartnett and I’m glad to see he’s back on screen, but there were so many plot holes. I mostly enjoy Shyamalan’s films, even the silly ones like Old and don’t take them too seriously because he’s the master of the enjoyable B movie but this one was just…crap. And she wasn’t even the worst thing about it.Trap was absolutely shit, probably M.Night's worst film. His Daughter actually has a lovely voice, but she can't act her way out of a paper bag.His other daughter directed quite a few episodes of Servant, the show he created/produced. He's been pushing both of their careers for a while.
I wouldn’t say she was gorgeous tbh, although that’s just my opinion obviously. If she wasn’t wealthy with all that comes with it, I don’t think she’d be turning heads in the street and she definitely doesn’t have the ‘it’ factor. I guess I’m just sick of seeing the next generation of the same faces - Jude Law’s son, Cindy Crawford’s daughter, Johnny Depp’s daughter, Don Johnson’s daughter, Keith Allen’s kids (and on and on and on). It’s like royal inbreeding. I know he’s divisive, but at least someone like Barry Keoghan has an interesting ‘new’ face and actual talent and he did it without a privileged background, something that’s rare these days. I’d rather see one of him than ten nepo babies.Lily-Rose is gorgeous though
I like Anais tbf, but Liam’s sons seem like a pair of knobheads. I also don’t mind Meg Ryan’s son (Jack Quaid?) who’s in The Boys and will happily acknowledge his privilege while also being good at his job. Least favourite is Kaia Gerber who seems to be popping up in all kinds of stuff these days and is as wooden as plank but insists that she gets parts on talent alone and North West, as someone’s already posted. I know she’s only a little kid but she looks like an absolutely insufferable brat. Oh, and nearly forgot Bono’s daughter who had a major Twitter meltdown when she was mentioned in that Vanity Fair (?) article about nepo kids. The only nepo babies I like are Anais Gallagher who openly discusses and recognises her privilege while also having graduated from uni with an art history degree, and Susan Sarandon & Tim Robbins son (can’t remember his name, but he’s hilarious on TikTok)
See also Lily Rose Depp who I believe started her career as a catwalk model despite being about 4ft tall.I never got how Clara was a model, nothing wrong with her but she's not model pretty.
She's a pretty girl just like thousands of other pretty girls but she wouldn't be there if she wasn't Kidman's daughter.
And you just know she feels shes earned her Vogue covers.Laila Moss's "modelling" career ... Don't get me started.
Went to see him a few years ago. Utter shit. Rehashed material from previous years that had been on Netflix. It was like he couldn’t be arsed. We left at the interval.Jack Whitehall. How the hell he's considered a comedian is beyond me. His dad is a talent agent / producer / author.
Same with Will Smith having his kids star alongside him. Thankfully I don't think they ever really took off but he kept trying.Never thought I'd have to drag him, as a big fan of his early work....but I watched the new M Night Shyamalan movie last night....so disappointing and predictable. The whole thing just felt like a vehicle to promote his daughter's music, because the concert plot/setting made no sense, plot had more holes than a wheel of swiss cheese too.
Imagine making a whole ass movie with THAT MANY extras just to get your push your kid's singing career....lame!
