Neighbour filming me

So, bit of a weird one. I was driving out of my estate a few weeks ago and noticed a middle aged woman holding her phone up facing me as I drove past her house. Looked like she was filming me. I mentioned it to my daughter and we decided that maybe yer one was just taking a picture and I happened to drive past.
This morning as I drove past, she was in the garden and stared at me as I drove past, so I'm pretty sure now that she was filming me. I drive a sporty car and I do drive fast, I don't hang around. But I don't speed in the estate as there are children about. I'm driving over 20 years. So I'm confused. I think next the I drive past and see her, I'm going to stop and ask her was she filming me, and why.
Just wondering what people think? I'm not happy about being filmed, even though it's a public area.

A couple of questions, what’s the speed limit and how fast are you driving? Is your car sporty enough/unique enough that she might just be perving on it?

Speed limit in Ireland is 50kph. There is talk of reducing it to 30kph in estates, but pretty sure it's not in yet. Im careful not to speed, as there are children and older people about.
Don't think yer one would be into my car, she doesn't look the type.

Hmmm… I asked about the speed limit as the road to my house is a 60mph but it is only wide enough for one car in places etc so people do stare/raise an eyebrow sometimes when I’m driving along it (never over the speed limit) as I too have a sporty car and don’t drive slow! However, it’s a bit different if it’s 50kph and you’re not exceeding that.

Definitely ask her, it seems too coincidental that you’ve noticed it twice.

I don't know her. I moved in about 6 years ago, but I tend to keep myself to myself. I'm really annoyed about it. I'm wondering if other neighbours are talking about me too.
It'd be more neighbourly if she spoke to me, or even put a note in the door.

Alot of country councils in Ireland have by-laws enforcing a 30km speed limit in housing estates. I would check yours.

50km/h is far too fast for a housing estate imo. Unfortunately if you have a sports car that is noisy you might be drawing attention to yourself if you are driving at 50km/h.

I know where I live people who drive fast in our built up area do irk a lot of people.

ETA - she is handling it the wrong way btw. A knock on the door or at least a note is a more civilised way to approach you.

She's probably just another self-appointed neighbourhood-watch/nosey cow. My local social media groups of full of them posting pictures of strangers demanding to know who they are.
