You were being educated about “asking if someone is trans”. You don’t ask. If you may assume someone is trans and they haven’t spoken about it, then they obviously don’t want too, or aren’t ready too. You don’t just state “when are they coming out as trans” when you have no idea, and this person is clearly female, you just deciding to attack her appearance by calling her “masculine”.

I didn’t make any transphobic comments, maybe I shouldn’t have assumed but that’s why i asked this forum….

I didn’t know if she had come out or not because she had stated this is her new channel on one of her tik toks and I asked if anyone had her before!

Masculine is an attack. If she WAS transgender she’s clearly not wanting to look masculine. So to call a transgender woman masculine and bring attention to their bone structure and voice is transphobic. I’m not even a prison wife of anyone’s. I’m an outsider.

I wouldn’t like anyone to call me masculine or say I look masculine. I’m not going for that look and you can see from how she presents herself nor is she. If someone was commenting on pics of me saying “you look masculine here” I would find those comments rude. So would a trans woman. I’m just sharing my point of view.

Maybe you didn’t mean to be hurtful by asking if she’s trans or if she’s made videos about her transition. Sorry if you feel people started jumping down your throat. I just felt the need to defend her, she seems like a nice girl.

I am struggling to understand where I have had a nasty demeanour though.

I maybe shouldn’t have assumed but this is what this thread is for… ask questions and receive answers from other people who may know more…
